Super helpful, polite and had exactly what we were looking for- a rooster! We first contacted them via phone and were able to place an order for same day pick up. We also got two ducks which are so cute. I would recommend coming here if you would like to purchase roosters, chickens or ducks. Beautiful property!!

My teaching colleague found Zippy a few years ago when our online order of duck eggs did not hatch. Not wanting to disappoint our Kindergarten students who wait a long 28 days, she made the hour drive to Zippy’s farm to bring home a few ducklings ( shh we never told our students). As teachers, Zippy’s farm is our “go to place” for duck eggs for a few years now.
Zippy is so kind, knowledgeable and so helpful with any questions. You can tell he takes pride in his farm, his ducks, chickens, geese, bees and other animals he may have on his beautiful farm.

May 2024...another great hatch. Kindergarten students learn so much about the life cycle of the duckling and its development.

This is a gem in the Hudson Valley. If you are looking for some grade A duck eggs, then this is the spot for you. The eggs are great for baking and ice cream. It takes the fluffiness to the next level in any recipe. Getting eggs here is by appointment, so just call ahead and let them know how many you want and they’ll have everything ready when you arrive. They are so friendly and kind. The property is HUGE and the ducks look very well cared for on their lovely pond. I’ve also picked up their honey, which is delicious as well. 10/10 would come back again.

We have been getting our eggs from Zippy’s Farm for many years now. He is so knowledgeable and has a beautiful farm to bring our ducks back to once our school year has ended. I highly recommend them for your eggs.

We had a great time at Zippy’s Poultry and Duck Farm. We came from Syracuse to buy ducks and while we couldn’t get all the ducklings the first time out we are heading back to get the rest. We received a tour and Zippy answered all our questions. We are so happy to support a local small farm!

Our school received duck eggs from Zippy’s farm and our students had a wonderful experience! Upon returning the ducklings to the farm, Zippy was kind enough to allow us to look around the farm and enjoy the views of his beautiful property. It is apparent that he takes pride in his work and great care
of his animals. Zippy apent time talking with us and he is very friendly and knowledgeable.
We received a goose egg from Zippy that my husband cooked up for breakfast. It was delicious, like nothing we’ve ever had before. The whole chicken we received from him was also out of this world, juicy and tender! I highly recommend this farm and their produce.
