Extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism. We chose this shop after having family who received great work here. We had them do an estimate which we paid for, gave them the contact information for the insurance adjuster at that time for submitting the supplements, and scheduled a repair several months out. A couple weeks before our repair we had our insurance company send them the initial check as a two party check (made out to us and the shop, requiring 2 signatures). When we arrived for the appointment and were reviewing the forms they asked us to sign, I noted that there was a daily storage fee if insurance doesn't pay. Will said that this fee only applies if they have talked to the insurance company, gotten us involved, and still haven't gotten their money. He then told me it looks like they still didn't have the money. I asked if they had the information to contact the insurance adjuster to get a supplement approved. He said they had the contact info, and then began telling me that my insurance company is terrible, all of them are terrible except State Farm, and that they have never successfully gotten a supplement paid out by USAA. I let them know that I did not want to proceed with repairs until I spoke with the insurance company because if they have never had a supplement paid out by USAA this was a significant cost to me. I left without signing the paperwork and contacted the insurance company, who stated that there shouldn't be a problem with them paying out a supplement because there aren't a lot of hail damage repair shops in the area and informed me where the shop should submit it and that an initial supplement should be submitted before the work begins. I went to talk to Zimmerman's again and spoke with Mandy and Will, who both gave conflicting information and said that they can't submit a supplement until the work has begun but then also told me that they already tried to submit a supplement to SolutionWorks (who works with USAA) and they didn't hear back. They could not pull up any evidence of this. I also found out that somehow Zimmerman's had cashed the 2 party check already WITHOUT OUR SIGNATURE and wanted to charge us a restock fee for the parts to be returned. I let them know that we didn't sign anything with them and never authorized the check to be signed, that we stopped immediately when learning that they had never had a supplement approved through USAA and we could be responsible for over $3k at pickup. It is 2 months later and we are still trying to get a full refund from them. They haven't been able to tell me or the insurance company how much the restock fee would be, even though I talked to them in person on the same day they sent back a check to the insurance company, and they just finally sent a partial refund minus a restock fee of over $800....which once again we never signed anything or agreed to when they cashed the check without our knowledge or signature. This review is just an overview of the poor service we received, there are many more details that are very concerning. As much as it's nice to support small businesses...we and our family will stay FAR away from this one in the future. I'll be sure to update my review as we continue to wait on the shop to send back the restock fee that was never agreed to from the check that was never signed.

Zimmerman's is the most honest body shop you could choose. Everyone was very personable and helpful. I went here on a family recommendation even though it's over an hour from my house. I had a bad experience at a mainstream body shop, and Zimmerman's was able to quickly and honestly find what was wrong with my car and provide me with a fair estimate. If you want repairs done right the first time and to the manufacturer's specifications don't take your vehicle anywhere else.

This place was amazing, my uncle rolled his truck into the front end of my car, totaled the front end and their insurance didn't want to cover the labor fees, so my insurance covered everything. They got to my car as quick as they could and got it finished 4 days early. They made the front end of my car look brand new. The were great with the communication and updates, I am 100% pleased with the service.

Their quote for my repair is very reasonable. Even though they are very busy, they are willing to squeeze me in as time is available. Looking forward to fabulous results.

I received my estimate quickly, and the gentleman who helped me appeared to be professional. When the business was unable to find one particular part, they didn't call me. My attorney had to find out. I took my car elsewhere and that company had no problem finding the part. Then, a month later, I received a message saying I needed to get my car off of their property. My car has been in my garage the whole time. I don't recommend this company!

I drove up from Pueblo, a few weeks ago, to get a repair estimate, on the Tailgate of my 2019 Ford Escape. They were closed for Lunch and signs in their office window indicated an appointment was required, for an estimate.

I called their phone number, from my cell phone and was just leaving when Helen was first arriving back from Lunch. I explained that I had driven up from Pueblo and she said to wait for a few minutes and someone else would take a look at my vehicle.

I scheduled the repairs to be handled by Zimmerman's, the week of August 10th and now my repaired vehicle is back with me. It looks good, they washed the outside and they even did a little detailing of the interior.

I personally have not needed vehicle body work done, since 1970's. I had Zimmerman's repair my fairly new, 1969 Ford Bronco, shortly after they arrived in Canon City.

If you need any body work done, this is the BEST place! State Farm recommended them after my car had a hit and run. They are friendly, professional and definitely went the extra mile! After the repairs were done they detailed my car inside and out!! Exceptional!
