We came in here wanted to try the food after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint! We were warmly welcomed in by Sharon and she was very courteous and attentive throughout. As someone who has lived and traveled all over Asia, the food here is excellent. We had the hot and sour soup, minced chicken roll, Dan Dan noodles and the zen signature chicken. All were great! Definitely come here for a lovely meal and warm atmosphere. We will be back!

My wife and I went to Zen Garden today for a Valentine’s Day lunch by recommendation of a good friend. It was our first time visiting Zen Garden.

We were so pleasantly surprised walking into the restaurant by its unique and extremely comfortable ambiance and layout. Also, we were very warmly and cordially greeted by the waitress and manager, Isabelle, who allowed us to choose our own table. We chose one of many equally comfortable tables.

We ordered spring rolls for appetizers which were scrumptious with their cabbage and carrot pickles and bright tangy sauce. My wife and I shared a huge bowl of Mushroom Sesame Noodle soup which was absolutely exquisite, light, soothing, delicious. Our entree was the vegetarian ginger chicken, which was deep and hearty, plenty of flavor, delicious seitan chunks another meatless meat which I think was soy based. Savory and satisfying. The rice served was short-grain brown rice, possibly pressure-cooked, because it was thoroughly cooked, yet retained its body, and the brown rice was easily chewed and assimilated.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal in a delightfully clean and well-appointed, warmly designed restaurant with a very pleasant manager and waitress who checked on our comfort and food preparation at various intervals.

I could not think of a more pleasant restaurant to enjoy Valentine’s Day in. I highly recommend Zen Garden in Great Neck.

Beautiful place to go and eat. Very comfortable. Food is unbelievably great. Everything was wonderful. The staff was so helpful too. Zen Garden is all Vegan. We enjoyed the Sushi and Eggplant/Chicken with Basil sauce! Both were delicious!

This was an unexpected find in Long Island and the plant based food options were excellent. Fresh ingredients, tasty, great presentation and short wait time. The vegan Peking Duck was really good, as well as the tiramisu. The only negative would be the coffered ceiling looked dingy and some areas of the banquets need shampooing. Overall clean and uniquely beautiful and definitely recommend it!

This vegan and kosher place is really superb. Good to have a plant based meal once in a whole for health reasons! Was here before abd I eemember it was excellent. Had the Buddhist delight and it was delicious (and a large serving). The quinoa was absolutely fantastic - I think they toast it. Also a wide array of interesting and delicious teas.

Decor and ambience very classy and relaxing... very enjoyable experience!

Went there with some friends the day after a wedding. We arrived before they'd technically opened, but they were happy to show us to a large table and shower us with attention. We had excellent Peking duck, bao, spring rolls, stuffed mushrooms, wonton soup…way too much food for us to finish, but we gave it our best try! All super delicious, and all served with a smile. The hostess even took some photos of our food for us!

Everything here is delicious. The food options, attentiveness and kindness of the staff, and aesthetic create a wonderful experience. If you are vegetarian or vegan this is a GREAT place for you!

This restaurant is so charming, peaceful and has really delicious food. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian or neither, you will love the food! The staff is very attentive and friendly and they always ask about food allergies. I highly recommend them!! The desserts are a good size and very tasty. I always enjoy my visits there.
