The first time I visited the Wurst Kitchen. I've heard many good things about them from friends and colleagues. Parking was limited on the street, but it was defenetly worth the stop. There is so much to choose from and defenetly worth the price. I bought some hot and spicy, their original and the garlic and onion bratwurst. Also, some beer & brat mustard complimented the bratwurst perfectly. I grilled them on charcoal very slow with some sautéed unions and peppers. I must say, they know how to make a Bratwurst!! The gentleman behind the counter was very knowledgeable and made some recommendations that helped me make my selection. Their beef sticks were also flavorful. I defenetly recommend everyone to stop by. This is an awesome place to get all your bratwurst needs.

The small star is hidden away in a neighborhood in Aurora Illinois. They have this outstanding selections of various types of Brats and side dishes. We've gotten there several times to stock up for parties everyone always loves the quality of the food! Staff is always friendly and helpful and has good suggestions if you ask for them. Definitely a great place to go!

Wow - I wasn’t sure what to expect when I was along for the ride with my father in law but when I exited the car and saw the exterior I knew a little of what to expect when walking in

The exterior decor is awesome - wurst kitchen is on the side of the building making it hard to miss.

When the entry door cracked open my nostrils were !met with a sweet - Smokey meat smells that quickly made me take another few deep breaths in to make sure I knew what I was smelling - the aroma of the wurst kitchen is angelic if your are a meat person like myself - I was quickly lost in the isle of different bratwurst they had in the cases…

HIGLY RECOMMEND stopping in at the wurst kitchen for a visit

Since 1895 - that in itself speaks volumes that the wurst kitchen has been a staple of the community for more than 100 years

We have been going to Wurst Kitchen for over 30 years. The brats are truly the best around. The real treat is on Saturdays they cook them up for you on the side of the building. We have had the brats, beef sticks, lunch meats and their frozen selections. Last week we were introduced to something new, Liver Dumplings soup by Wolf, the owners son. We have had liver dumplings soup many times in the past, but this German version was honestly the very best we have had .The liver dumpling is the real deal. The meat is authentic and very fresh and the flavor of the broth is rich and complex adding a well rounded delightful taste to the dish. This I believe was their first attempt in making this dish but I hope it will not be their last. They sell it in their frozen section so look for it. And I might add the liver dumpling in which you get two of them in the serving portion is as big as a fist! Thanks Wolf for suggesting this new item you carry!

Great service, large variety of foods, and very clean. Can't wait to try it all!
Had a gathering and cooked everything I purchased. Phenomenal! The bread dumplings, spaitzel, German potato salad, and three different sausages were a big hit. This will be my only go-to for German food.

Only grabbed some snacks, jerky and a pickle. Pickle was a pre packaged, so no comment for that. The jerky was freshly made by the kitchen, and was pretty good. It could definitely use another hour in the dehydrator to be honest but the flavor was good.

Wow. I went a picked brats and kielbasa with a couple mustard’s and kraut recommended by Gus. The smoked kielbasa is exceptional and the Hungarian Kielbasa is one of the best sausages I’ve ever eaten.

Great selection of handmade artisan sausage. Many other condiments and food items are available. Will be back again and again.
