This place is for food to go, not dine in, but it's excellent. The location may be a bit off the main roads, but a detour is worth it. We stopped for lunch during a two-day photo shoot at the nearby wildlife reserve. My friend had been here before and left with multiple loaves of banana bread, bacon-cheese bread, and other goodies. Nice friendly people, too.

Best carrot cake I’ve had in many years, if not ever. I live in Colorado Springs and I randomly picked up this carrot cake at Bread and Butter while shopping for something else. I was just happy there was no nuts, because I have an allergy and it’s difficult to find carrot cakes without them. Me and the whole family ate our piece of cake without a single crumb left. Very moist, flavorful, and fresh. The cream cheese frosting was incredible. So glad I happened to pick one up! We will keep checking for other items sold at Bread and Butter until we can make the trip to your bakery.

This bakery is WORTH THE DRIVE 😆. If you're nearby or going to the sand dunes make the 30 min detour and thank me later. Fresh baked breads, local made cheeses, fried hand pies, meats, jams etc. They also provide free fresh made donuts and coffee while you shop. Very sweet and everything is delicious.

This place lives up to its name. Even though it’s a drive to get there, the food alone is worth it. Additionally, the staff are welcoming and attentive. The selections are abundant despite how far away they are from town. They are much more than a bakery by also serving jams, cheese and meats, ect. Be sure to arrive early if you want any of the high recommended baked goods because they sell out fast since most are made fresh daily/weekly.
