We visited Windy Acres Farm's Strawberry Fest expecting to pick some fresh strawberries, but unfortunately, there was no strawberry picking or farm access.
The petting zoo was a highlight, with friendly animals. The play area with slides and activities seemed to be a hit with little ones.
The food was a mixed bag. The strawberry BBQ sandwich was overly sweet and not impressive. The corn with Tajin and Mayo was a winner, though! The strawberry slushy was just okay. Unfortunately, the pickle on a stick was a letdown - it was soggy and lacked texture.
Overall, Windy Acres Farm's Strawberry Fest seems more geared towards families with young kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. While the food could use improvement.  Maybe next time, we'll stick to the corn and slushies!
Entry tickets can be purchased online for 16.99 + 0.99 $ per person.

It was my first time in this amazing space and despite knowing from what I can see what I expected to experience, I found it quiet enjoyable. They have this really kid friendly space with a lot of activities, some of which adults can enjoy. We loved watching our little niece run around trying all the little attractions. We especially enjoyed playing shooting hoops, touring the animal farm, seeing a llama for the first time etc. The food there and drinks are delicious too!. Tried their apple cider slush which was awesome! Both donuts we sampled were delicious even the pumpkin flavored one (which was surprising!). Next time will try their cider donuts lol. The vibe was lively even with the chilly weather. It was nice to see people and their children going around and enjoying themselves. Mind you this was and still is just a field though with some little attractions. Kind of hit me that despite how modern our world is right now, there are simple joys to be found in places like this. Corny but true. 10/10 would come back again next year!

They had a strawberry festival with a lot of things for the kids to do, and a bar and grill. It cost $16 per person to get in to the activities side, which is the only side you can get a drink or food. The drinks were maybe 8oz and cost $9 and up. So ultimately you pay $25 for a drink. A quart of strawberries was $7.98! Corn was $1.50 per ear!! They were serving strawberry shortcake for $8. It was a regular sized bowl full, but the strawberries were tart. It had the makings to be a great visit, but they thought way too much about their products and I didn’t see anything worthy of the prices they asked. I did buy some flowers at a good price.

I will make a long paragraph short. This was my first visit to the farm. I took my Mom and two children the cost was almost $80 to enter. I don't understand why the high cost for adults. The children can not come in without an adult and the adult are not there to be entertained, that is part of the three stars. The next reason is the farm animals. I think if you have animals you should care for them. There were several animals that appeared to be in need of vet care. The one lamb had a large bleeding wound on it's ear, the pig is beyond overweight even for a pig, and several of the chicken/roosters had large parts with no feathers. The last reason for the three stars is the food. The food has a high price but low quality. I don't mind paying for food but this food was not good at all. The corn was very small and almost $10 the cheeseburger and fries were all from a box. The burger was tasteless and seemed like one you would get in a school cafeteria and again the cost was $10. Okay, so overall, the children had a blast and enjoyed their day completely. I however, thought the farm was very costly for what it has to offer for adults who have to pay full price to enter. I would recommend to try this farm for a day out but I would only bring one adult and bring your own food.

It was extraordinary! Time to enjoy with family and friends. All the farm products were a bit expensive but we enjoy playing and eating ice cream, drinking the peach drinks (sloshi & sangria). We would come back next year

Exceptional Customer Service provided by Grace at Windy Acres Farm.
She made my shopping experience so pleasurable and offered several suggestions. Example: Dill Green Tomatoes. This a a great place for your fresh produce, flowers, pottery, seasonal produce, goodies and jarred food items.
They offer festivals and events for the enjoyment of the entire family.
*On my return visit a few days later over the weekend, there were many guests attending the Blueberry Festival.

Nice little farm with a friendly staff. Seemed pricey, but it's also one of just a few that are in the suburbs. We went for an Easter bunny visit and donut decorating and both were well done. It was nice and quick for the kids and parents to move through a few activities. Some lines (~10-15 min), but things to look at while you wait and won't eat up your entire day. We went at 10a on a Sunday.
