Contracted the craziest food poisoning. Only had Boarshead Honey Turkey slices with cheddar cheese. This is the only meal I had that day as I started to experience symptoms shortly after eating it. Granted, there’s been a massive recall on a-lot of their items but I would just avoid all deli meats. FYI I asked for my meat to be cooked with this in mind and it wasn’t . Wholesome is a really clean deli too so I’m not going too much on the rating. The deli trauma is real now.

love this place i get 2 things from here mostly,the juices.(any of them). the guy who makes them is sooo friendly and welcoming. there's also a sandwich with breaded chicken Cutlet on garlic bread with bacon and brown gravy... man listen that shit is amazing... I always question the cakes tho lol you never know how long they been there.

Eat clean bro. That what this store is saying without uttering a word. A little on the pricey side. But great quality food. Like my mother says u can't eat money. And u can't die with it either.

Great deli, bad produce.
I like their deli a lot but beware of their produce. I’ve gotten produce here many times that looked fine and ended up being rotten or poor quality. It seems like they rearrange the berries (especially anything on sale) and put the rotting fruit out of sight so you can’t see it until you open up the package. It’s happened enough to me that it’s not a one off. They sometimes also sell expired food and beverages. I would grab dry goods and prepackaged things and will continue to patron the deli but I’ve wasted so much money on produce here. Be sure to check expiration dates on things.

Tell me how a bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee is $6.80?! I thought he gave me the wrong change! I come here when I am desperate and getting on the LIRR. Never again. Not even high end coffee shops charge that much! On top of that they’re so slow I almost missed my train. If you want coffee just go to a coffee shop which is a block away on Nostrand.

So I’m rolling through Brooklyn and I came across this place. I was going to just grab a snack of nuts and seeds but when I walked in I smelled green stuff. A abundance of really healthy food not found commonly within the current demographic. I was actually excited. I order a juice and a smoothie from the well stocked juice bar, and a veggie burger made with my details. The staff behind the counter was very attentive to those who ordered before me, attentive to my food desires, and those behind me. They all wore masks. The prices were very reasonable. This is the kind of place that says there should be laws that every market be like this place. I think the world would be a healthier place. #sankofatafari #kingofcoffeenyc #nyc #googlemaps

I ordered food here from Uber eats. When I receive the salad I realize it was completely drenched in dressing and extremely soggy. I have attached pictures for you to see. I also in the same order, ordered sweet potato fries that were nowhere near warm. At best the sweet potato fries were room temperature. I was pretty hungry that evening so I called them and personally told them that I wasn’t satisfied with the with the food and the gentleman who assisted me was extremely understanding and put in another order to be sent out to me. The second go around the salad was just fine and the dressing was put on the side. And the sweet potato fries were warm. I give wholesome market at this location three stars because the service ultimately was pretty good (remade my order and the rep was pleasant) even though the food was originally terrible.

The sister of Wholesome Gourmet Market on Flatbush Ave and Lincoln Rd. Same owner and concept and lots of yummy healthy options available. So glad to have this close by as well. Now I don't always have to hop on the Q or S to get to the other location. 5/5👌
