As a fan of Auntie Anne’s, I was excited when I found out that there was a local Wetzels Pretzels location. I’ve always wanted to try it, so I drove out of my way to the Galleria to have a snack.

My first red flag was that I was clearly being treated like a number, like I was a walking, talking wallet, by the cashier. And the customers after me were served in the same rushed manner.

Pretzel bites are more expensive than the normal pretzels here. Knowing this beforehand, I was a bit puzzled why they insisted I buy the pretzel bites if I wanted the cinnamon sugar or almond pretzels, instead of them just cooking up a normal cinnamon sugar or almond pretzel for me. I relented and paid extra for the cinnamon bites, which were just plain pretzel bites that they hastily added the cinnamon sugar to.

I paid $16 for a salted normal pretzel, cinnamon pretzel BITES that cost me extra, and a small cup of frosting for dipping. With these awful prices and such awful service, these pretzels better be the best I’ve ever tasted.

They were far from the best I’ve ever tasted. Auntie Anne’s beat Wetzels in taste with pretty much every product I purchased. The salt pretzel is better at Auntie Anne’s, the cinnamon pretzel, the frosting. Oh, God, the frosting here is soooooo fake tasting and bad…

These Wetzels pretzels tasted so generic. Ive had better pretzels at the Sams Club food court!

I also mentioned that my cinnamon bites had the cinnamon sugar added on at the last second. So some of the pretzel bites werent coated with sugar properly, making them taste plain and generic. I paid extra money for THAT?!

Coming from someone who enjoys national chain restaurants, I will never visit a Wetzels Pretzels location again. There’s no excuse not to go to Auntie Anne’s instead. It’s in the same mall as this scam of a business.

this place is so confusing. i swear i pay something different each time i go there for the same thing.
sometimes it's really good- ngl, even if the price is kind of absurd. other times i get back to my store or home with it and realize i was served something that likely was past time, hard as a rock, and inedible.

what i don't like is i accept whatever price but when staff calls you over or tells you "if you get one more" or "if you add on this" they'll give something free or cut a discount (usually end of night) and then they ring it and don't discount or offer anything and make you feel like a jerk to call it out.

As an Auntie Anne’s long time fan, I thought I would be a lifer. But not so much anymore. I’ve been wanting to try Wetzels since I first noticed them in Rochester. Now their at the Galleria!!!😀 Since I’ve been going to Wetzels I’m in love. Was there this evening, I got my faves the salted bits w/ cheddar cheese, the cinnamon bits w/the glaze, and pepperoni bits! The big backery was in effect🤤 Every time I’ve had something from Wetzels, the pretzels are always fresh, and warm.
We’ll definitely be BAACCCCCCCK😁

If you want soft warm pretzels that are perfectly doughy on the inside and golden brown on the outside try a Wetzel Pretzel and bites! So delicious, best snack for on the go or for a movie! Things can get messy if you choose the almond one but it’s totally worth having almonds in places they should never be😊. Must try it with the caramel dip!

I’m rating this a 1 star because that’s the lowest it goes. I would rate them a zero. The associate charged me for 2 cinnamon twists and 1 pretzel bites when I only asked for 1 of each. After telling him I only ordered 1 he insisted that I had to keep them all because I already payed for them. I did not receive a refund and am very frustrated at this lack of care and listening. I will not be visiting again and will be yelling family and friends to do the same.

Happy to have wetzles here finally! However I asked for 2 salted pretzels and looked at my receipt and was charged for and received pretzel bites. Clearly the associate isn't fully listening. He also didn't give me a correct receipt with a barcode to scan for points nor did he ask if I was using the app for rewards.
