I had the butternut squash soup and the Colorado trout for my meal. It was amazing! My son had the chicken sandwich and the string french fries had the perfect seasoning! My husband had the burger at the double and loved everything. The smashed potatoes were amazing. Great band playing on the patio and the service was great.

Fantastic stouts, I had the aged midnight run, double barrel, aged imperial stout…loved it! Taking home Barrel aged double absence…loved it! If you like the high ABV, both of these were 15 and 16% alcohol and the happy hour free shot that came with the first one was nice. Had a Screwball peanut butter whiskey (and I don’t like Peanut Butter) that was fantastic! My smashed burger and green chili stew were great also. The bartender, Matt, informative and honest, (there was something he had not tried, so he didn’t try to sell it to me, he said he had not tried it) atmosphere was great and kid friendly. Lots of TV’s and friendly staff.

If you’re passing through the area and looking for some delicious food, stop here. The truffle potatoes were amazing, the tacos were delicious that I got two more chicken tacos. The spicy margarita was one of the best spicy margs I’ve had and you can’t beat the happy hour! The only negative I would say about the food is the fish taco was a sad small fish stick in a tortilla, otherwise the other tacos are great and I will come back when I’m in town again!

Generally we enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere of this location. That being said they do take advantage of their touristy location and up charge for things above what they might really be worth. Our last visit there I ordered 3 tacos for $17, and one of them (fish) had literally one bite of meat. It was a great bite... but damn... not worth $17. I guess we just accept this as tourism tax

Came in right before happy hour had a great bartender she was accommodating and sweet. We closed out with her during shift change. Bartender coming on did not give us service until called over. My friend and I got a flight. We were not offered anything else beyond what was asked. We weren’t even half way through and were asked if we closed out and given our tab. It felt rushed and like we were being kicked out. We are both industry and would have gladly stayed past our flight but didnt have interest in staying.. we heard this same bartender talking about how ā€œthis place has gone downhillā€ which isn’t surprising given his attitude… we would have stayed longer but the vibes were terrible.

I had a good time at Capitol Creek Brewery. I didn't order food but smelling everything that was coming out of the kitchen made me hungry. The trout looked fantastic!
I was here for the beer. And it did not disappoint. I ordered a flight and literally everything I had was delicious. They were busy, so the bartender didn't really have time to chat.
But the beers here are recommended. Super nice place too.

It's fine. Beer is good but the food has seriously gone downhill since Westbound and Down took over from Capital Creek. The Capital Creek burger was exceptional. Every Brew Pub should have an outstanding hamburger. The two little smash patties and American cheese that they have now is mediocre at best.

I love the beer battered and fried ā€œBANG BANG SHRIMPā€ and the sauce of ā€œTRUFFLED POTATOESā€! And it’s a dog friendly restaurant.
