West Indies Grocery,Warren St,Hudson N.Y. If your palette craves Jamaican home cooking,see Ms. Paula,I've been buying rice and peas with sautéed cabbage,curry chicken and oxtail. Also beef Pattie or vegetable pattie for the last 15 years. You won't be disappointed with Ms.Paula home cooking. The grocery carry Jamaican bread,ginger beer and jerk seasoning as well as other item.

My daughter’s first time trying oxtails and cabbage and her rice and she spent the entire time sitting the back seat smiling and dancing while eating her food. To say less it’s the best spot to get a real home cooked meal

I was very disappointed. I absolutely love jamaican food and this place is not it. There is no flavor. Rice and cabbage oily but bland. I ordered a SMALL dish and it cost over 18 dollars!!! Very upset I paid that much for this, and sadly I will not be back. I had to use my jerk seasoning out of the glass jar in my fridge just to give it some flavor!

My husband and I was visiting Hudson NY and we found this wonderful place. We love Jamaican food and thought we would give it a try.
Brought home Jamaican Jerk Chicken, there cabbage mixture, rice and peas ( I personally think they are beans) and the jerk beef patties. This is definitely a place to stop at. The owner was super pleasant. Loved the food and will be visiting again.

I find this food incredibly delicious. I think the person who gave the bad review might have been there on an off day. Perhaps the cook was sick. I have always found it consistently good. I go there whenever I’m in Hudson.

I had never had Jamaican food before and was lucky enough to try it for the first time here. These guys know how to cook… We got the curry goat and a couple of ginger beers and I’m still dreaming about it. I will definitely be back soon, and I definitely recommend!
They also have a lot of interesting products at the store. I got a smoked herring and scotch bonnet pepper spread that is sooo good. If you like good food, check this place out
