Waffle House delivered on the food front, serving up exactly what you’d expect – classic diner comfort food done right. Waffle House is a classic. The waffles were fluffy, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and they did a great job accommodating allergies, which was a big plus. Love how there was a stamp on the waffle with the Waffle House logo.

That said, there were a couple of downsides. They forgot the chocolate chips in our waffle, which was a bit of a letdown. On top of that, it was to-go only, so we couldn’t eat inside. Losing the sit-down experience took away some of the charm and fun that comes with eating indoors at Waffle House. It was also freezing cold outside which made it much harder to wait for the food too.

Overall, though, the food was solid, and I appreciated their attention to dietary needs for our group. I’d come back, but next time I would hope to get the full Waffle House experience next time – chocolate chips and a table inside!

I had a waffle with toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato slices (in lieu of grits). The food was delicious.

The diner is very small and the server was literally screaming while speaking to co workers. Not a hateful scream but an extremely loud voice. It was very unpleasant to listen to while attempting to enjoy my dinner.

Hubby and I both had the Texas patty melt meals. They were really good.. loved the hashbrowns. We don't have a waffle house by us..wish we did. Whenever we travel and get to go to one..we are there!! If you're just passing through..or live close..you can't go wrong here. Service was great..everyone is friendly.

Small but very very friendly and fast service! A waitress greeted us as she walked to her car. We were greeted immediately upon entry. Our waitress Gabby was a doll! No wait time and the food was great! My mom said the women’s restroom is really old, the family one is better. Everyone had nice waitresses and quick service! Shout out to the cooks!

Food was cooked perfectly to order! This WH is located in an area of Granite City formerly known more for semi trucks and late night guests. But the place has super improved and cleaner than most we've been to!!
The younger staff should remember it's an open concept, floor plan and when making comments out front WORDS CAN BE HEARD by customers! Therefore, when making snarky comments about your own customer, not wise to do so in front of us - IDIOT! We called her out and the smartest move she did was to hand our table off to another server.
Manager never walked over, but cooks and new server were amazing and much appreciated!!!

Well, the picture should tell it all, this was a first I didn't get a chance to show our before meal. Deedee who was our waiter was amazing! She was very polite, and consistent between all her tables. Food was beyond fulfilling (kisses to the chef who name we didn't catch) will definitely be back to this location soon.
