Great friendly family ran bakery with the best fesh baked bread around. A real neighborhood jem! For different holidays they bake specialty breads, so for Valentains Day I got a heart shaped bread, cut it in half and made a fun pizza bread for my woman! It went over very well! Thank you Vesuvio!

I wait all year for their Italian Easter bread, and today was the first day they made it. I was able to get it hot out of the oven, and all I can say is OMG! They make the best all around. It's so much like my Mom used to make. All their food is homemade and delicious.

I've been here 3 days in a row now. First time I got it A sandwich made out of focaccia with lunch meat. Amazing and chocolate cake donuts and chicken lemone. Today I was treated to the beef. Can't go wrong. Everything's homemade and the mother who serves you feels like your mother. Prices were amazing as well as the food.

Delicious Authentic Italian food!

We go here frequently and love trying new foods and rebuying our favorites. With options from a variety of pasta and sandwiches, Stuffed focaccia, cannolis, Italian sausage and beef, cookies and cakes there is a meal for any event. My kids are picky eaters, but they always look forward to the food we bring home from Vesuvio. They eat it all!

The owners are wonderful. The customer service is superb and they are always fun to talk to. I highly recommend this bakery/deli.

Do yourself a favor and stop in to the real world of old Italy and the way Chicago used to be when people had class and knew who and what they were.. get fresh deli sandwich and tell them make it the old way.. taste something amazing foe once.. order a cannoli cake and talk to the people who built this country and can give you advice on life..... tell em crazy eyes sent ya..🤌🤌💯

A gem of the Chicagoland area hiding in plain sight. Parking was easy, prices were great and staff were friendly and wonderful. Everything we bought was amazing.
The only problem is my wife is a midnight snacker and now I have to stay up late to protect the last of our focaccia bread. 🤺

I have tried the Combo in different places but this place definitely takes a place in my favorite spot starting NOW. Combo and water bottle for $8, you don’t find places like this anymore.
