Not much of a selection of food and so expensive if traveling for the day it's best to bring your own food ,everything sold here is sold in bulk

Food Cache is wonderful. They are your local Costco. They bring bulk items from Costco to Valdez for your shopping needs. Pet supplies, bulk drinks and alcohol, bulk meat and frozen goods, household needs, hygiene products, and more. Prices are very good and staff is very helpful. Looks small and questionable on the outside but don't let it fool you, it has alot to offer inside. I strongly recommend the Food Cache.

I would say there’s nothing really exceptional about this grocery but I’d be lying.... the employees there are exceptional, kind, and just so darn nice that even if you can’t find what you need you still do some extra shopping because they’re just so happy to try and accommodate your needs. They climb the big shelves, lift heavy items, and help you to your vehicle. They also don’t pass judgement if you’re a maskhole. They greet maskers and non maskers with the same enthusiasm and it’s nice to leave politics outside the door. Because of the mask situation I also notice that there is an extra effort to ensure that sanitation is not overlooked and that customer safety is a priority.

Nice place to get bulk items from cans to fresh to frozen. It's not a large store but they have lots of options. It's well worth checking the store or if you are going to bed soon the area for awhile. We plan to use it while here.

I've only been here once, and no complaints from me. Nice folks making it happen, plus you don't have to worry about climbing up and down a ladder to access Valdez Food Cache. Get some food and beverages, then get out there!

Only two food stores in Valdez. Safeway and Valdez Food Cache, which is mostly larger quantity box type purchase but does sell a lot of individual items as well. Worthy of your checking it out. We have made some really good buys there. Usually lower priced

I live out of area but the clerk there went out of her way to let me know what they have. She sent pictures of what was on the self and let me know how busy they were and call in same day travel. Incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Will be shopping here.
