You cannot get better than V&F! The guys all have a wonderful personality and the food is delicious!!
The meats are always cut to my liking and the prepared foods are always a hit in our house, especially the Chicken Alessia 🙂
We have ordered meat for BBQ's, dinners and holidays and everything is always PERFECT!
You must try the fresh mozzarella and you will be back - I promise~

(Also see update below) I had gone to this butcher for many years. I noticed during COVID that I got a steak that was turning brown in a few places (large areas) and took it back and I stopped going until the other day. Again, I got a ribeye steak that was turning brown in a few places. I needed it for the 4th, so I had to cut out the brown and get rid of some of the best part of the steak (bought it the day before the 4th). For the price of this meat, it is ridiculous that they are selling this stuff. Both times it was around a holiday. For the most part I've gotten good meat there, but it appears I really have to check every piece of meat I get from these guys.
(update) Well, it happened again. I had to cut off a whole lot of porterhouse steak (tenderloin portion) with my latest order, and I specifically pointed out that I wanted a porterhouse vs a T-Bone for the tenderloin. I didn't realize how much I'd have to cut when I started, or I would have taken it back. I had to ask them to go in the back and cut me a piece so I figured it would be fine. Well they fooled me! I noticed the next day (only one day old in a 38 deg refrigerator) that the pork chop they sold me also had some brown on it. Only a small amount on the surface, but clearly you couldn't keep something like that in the refrigerator for a few days. As a result my rating has now been dropped to below average, a 2.

Recently moved into East Northport, stopped in this Amazing Place , Friday. Felice helped me with suggestions and also gave me fresh mozzarella. It was the best I have ever tasted. We bought pre-breaded, chicken cutlets, loaded twice baked potatoes, fresh garlic bread, and more. Everything was amazing and the price was very reasonable for the excellent service and quality of meat . Very clean and friendly,we will make this one of our regular weekly visits !

Outstanding butcher shop, a true neighborhood gem! Shopped there today for the first time and bought a two inch prime porterhouse streak and stew beef. Excellent service and a magnificent display of meats. Joe and I will most definitely make F&V our place to buy our meats, say hello to Sean when you go.

Love this store. I don't buy as much as I used to because it's just me and my husband now but in the past I used to do big orders for our boat trips that they would wrap for freezing and my friends would always comment on how good the food was. Love the chicken burgers. Anything that's marinaded is fantastic. Great selection and always fresh. Clean store, friendly staff, always very accommodating and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

I wanted to recreate leg of lamb Sunday for my wife's siblings. They grew up on this every Sunday tradition. I went to the best place I know to get meat. I was not disappointed. The reviews are in and it was the best leg of lamb they ever had. This is my experience every time I shop at V&F.
