The owner of this great and much needed business is a former student of mine and an excellent herbalist in her own right. Urban Herbs has been an excellent addition to the Denver TCM community and I always recommend them to my colleagues in other states as well. As my own practice has transitioned to a hospital based practice and I no longer keep herb formulae on hand, I am even more grateful for Becky Childs, LAc and the rest of the helpful staff at Urban Herbs. Laid back, yet professional atmosphere. I found this little shop while on a stroll through 5 points. I'm sure there's stuff in there to cure any ailment, but I was just excited that they had some of the more exotic ingredients for making angostura bitters. When you just need a little of something (e.g. gentian root), don't bother buying online (where it's usually by the pound);
just slide on in to Urban Herbs.
