Definitely one of the best wineries at the Finger Lakes. Diverse selection of great wines - something for everyone for sure! And the staff is just amazing. One of my favorite things about Toast, besides the fantastic employees, is what makes them different. They have things like fun seasonal pairings and the black glass blind tasting! Absolutely a great time every time.

My wife and I stopped by while checking out the dog friendly wine trails. We loved everything about this place. Amazing staff, very dog.. and people friendly! They have charcuteries boards with locally sourced cheeses, pickles, and breads! The pickle pairing was perfect. This is a must if you’re visiting the Finger Lakes.

My wife and I made an hour and a half drive from Rochester on a Thursday to have the pickle and wine pairing. The server at the tasting bar told us they only do the pickle pairing on Fridays and Saturday. I told her about our long trip for the sole purpose of their pickle pairing and that didn't change her mind. I could see how it might be an interruption if they were busy, but it was 12:30 and there were only 2 other customers in the entire place. She said if she prepared the pairing for us then everyone else would want one. There were only 2 other people there! Plus, they would be using the pickles the next day according to her. So, opening a jar of pickles the day before you plan on using them is a big deal We walked out. I had been there before for a tasting and their wines are nothing special, but the pickle pairing is unique and the only reason I wanted to take my wife down there. On that Thursday the Toast representative had a chance to either gain a customer for life or lose a customer for life. For the lack of a little effort she chose to take the loss. Her response to us, taking into account they were not busy at all, tells you how much they value their customers. I valued their product (the pickle pairing) enough to drive 1.5 hours so my wife could enjoy it. They didn't value us enough to take the extra 5 minutes it would take to assemble the pairing.

In response to the owner's response: I'm not bullying anyone. I'm stating what happened. When I was there in late February with a group of friends, one of the others got the pickle pairing. That was on a Thursday and there was only one staff member present. It was offered to our group and one of them asked for it. If you have limited hours for some offerings it would nice to post that on your website.

Cannot miss this stop! They had the best wine (Rita) and cider (Raspberry) of my whole experience at Seneca Lake. The tasting was affordable and our bartender had a nice pour. He even gave us a sample of the Celebration Red (served warm out of a crockpot) that I had to buy and take home for the colder months.

Interesting pickle and wine tasting offered here. Cheese board was tasty, and you can pick what you want on it - although we picked gouda and are pretty sure they put the swiss cheddar on it by mistake. The wines are tasty. The atmosphere is nice. We were seated at the bar during our tasting.

At first, we were pretty disappointed that we had missed the special attractions such as the pickle or popcorn pairings offered at other times of the year (the downside of coming the day after July 4th weekend). But we were definitely not disappointed by the wonderful wine selection we were able to experience with the make-your-own tasting! Plus, our server Cameron was unpretentiously knowledgeable about the wine selection - and knew exactly what we’d like! Will definitely come back here again (and hope to catch the pickle pairing)!
