We highly recommend the Village Bake Shoppe for your wedding dessert needs! We went in for a free cake tasting upon recommendation from friends who loved the cake that they had for their wedding and we fell in love with the banana and oreo cupcakes! Lindsay and team did a great job with both our rehearsal dinner cake to celebrate my father-in-laws birthday and our wedding reception cupcakes. Everyone was raving about the cake for weeks after and hubby and I happily ate the leftovers for breakfast after our wedding 🙂 Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked The Village Bake Shoppe for our wedding on 11/1/24. Our overall experience was fantastic right from the very beginning! Booking our tasting online through their website was quick and simple. For our tasting appointment Lindsay went above and beyond! Most of the other bakeries in the area limit you to just a few cake samples, but not at The Village Bake Shoppe. Lindsay provided us with so many different & delicious dessert samples such as cakes, cookies, brownies & macarons. They provided us with information on multiple dessert table options that were reasonably priced & we were able to customize them to our liking with ease. Lindsay also asked very detailed questions about our wedding vision, so that they could provide us with the prefect cake & dessert table. We left the appointment knowing we had found our bakery! On the day of our wedding everything was perfect! The dessert table was set up beautifully & our cake was exactly what I had envisioned. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was. Fantastic bakery. Huge selection of all different types of desserts, also serving hot food, breakfast sandwiches Etc the berry pies were delicious, banana bread was soft and moist, cookies were soft, however the buttercream frosting didn't have much flavor to it, just a general sweetness. The lemon Danish had homemade lemon filling which was really great, nothing from a can. The pastry part was a little dense and dry. The brownie was very soft and moist, but the flavor was mediocre. Service was good. Would definitely stop here anytime I'm in the area!

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant. It was very quaint and home-like. It was nice to meet Mike, the owner who welcomed us and introduced himself. Diane was a delight to meet. Very friendly.

Amongst the various wedding planners, wedding vendors, wedding gurus & specialist etc etc. I can truly say Lindsay was by far the most approachable, charming and welcoming person, not just in a wedding sense but as a person. She genuinely wanted to talk & learn more about our vision of our wedding cake. Never felt like she was leaning one way or the next. She really liked my hope for a beautiful but simple cake with bright colorful edible flowers. Turns out edible flowers are quite tricky & although she kept trying to find her colleagues, resources even explore other farms, I felt my vision fading. But refused to give up. She was dedicated to the vision. I’m not sure how she did it (bride fog) but she DID IT! Nailed exactly my envision & when it came to the delicious insides she made the most incredible raspberry custard filling in WNY. We are in awe still with her work of art. 10/10 would recommend.

Very clean with a very friendly staff. They had several very tempting sounding beautifuly decorated cheesecakes sold by the slice. We could decide but decided to share two different ones...my spouce got cut out cookie and I got cherry chip almond, they both tasted identical and that is like a 'plain' cheesecake with none of the flavor they claimed (an almond ring type cheesecake sure sounded so good). You would think id be a lil upset but instead i was just suprised at what a realy good cheesecakes it was regardless despite the breif inital disappointment that it didn't resemble the flavors it claimed it was still a very good cheesecake overall based on texture and overall flavor. I can't imagine how many different cheesecakes I've tried (ALOT) and I'd say this is one of the better cheesecakes I've had, great texture and rich creaminess. Also the slices were quite large and a not bad price. Several other good looking baked goods too if for some weird reason you don't like cheesecake. I got an iced coffee with it that was not something I would return for however I would absolutely return to try one of the many identical tasting realy nicly decorated cheesecakes. Overall realy cute lil local business with a great variety of baked goods.

If you were looking for a European patisserie with unmatchable Local charm of Lewiston this is the place.

What really sets them apart is the staff and their eagerness to help the guest.

I had dietary concerns so checked with them on the phone if any of their products had alcohol, Lard or gelatine and the staff member, even though it was their busy morning rush, took the time to go over all the different masterpieces that they make with the pastry chef and got back to me with a list of items which contained Gelatine,Lard or alcohol (Tiramisu, Quiche, Pies,French Onion Soup, Chilli)

Very rarely have I come across such an amazing place and I loved visiting them with friends from NYC who were amazed at the excellent quality of the products.

I cannot wait to visit again and taste the decadent creations.

I definitely discovered a fantastic Shoppe..1st time visit and it sure did not disappoint!! The food and drinks were amazing ( we got frozen coffees) the staff was fantastic. Will definitely return and very recommend stop👍👍
