Awesome experience. Requested a removal of one tree, a substantial pruning of a second tree, and a new planting. Estimator was super knowledgeable, and we received a detailed breakdown of both costs and options. Work was done in two separate sessions, and the workers were responsive and attentive, and worked through some hot summer days.

Going to be asking them about additional work soon.

We had a great experience with the team from Plant Nerds. 3 great professionals were on site tending to the 2 areas we were "challenged" by. They took great care with our yard and when they were done - beautiful! I was especially grateful at how flexible they were as they needed to come back the next day to fix the remaining irrigation issues in our rose garden. Kudos to Plant Nerds!

Brandon, Angel, and team completed installing a gravel pathway and fire pit area, as well as coving the rest of the yard with “arborist chips,” with incredible efficiency earlier this week. Fantastic job and excellent service! I can’t wait to work with Plant Nerds again to add plants appropriate to the soil and sunlight there! Thank you!!!

After seeing what they did for my neighbors yard I knew these were the guys. Absolutely incredible job. Professional, on time, and beautifully done work. They helped me reset my front yard from the struggle jungle it was to one I can pause at every day now and appreciate the beauty. Thank you to the crew that came and to Brandon's vision and execution.

Plant Nerd crews are a pleasure to have on our property. On-site communication is great, and they always take great care in all phases of the great work they do for us. Angel is always a step ahead, understanding what our shared vision for the property is. We are so satisfied with everything Plant Nerds has done of us, from infrastructure improvements to spring pruning and maintenance!

The project teams that worked at my house doing various landscaping chores were both very hard working and paid attention to small details. Pruning, cutting down trees, raking beds, spreading mulch, hauling/spreading gravel, creating a walkway with pavers etc. were all well done. A thank you to Angel, Abelardo, and Francisco for all their hard work!

If you just want the short version: I've been using The Plant Nerds for Monthly maintenance of my yard/garden, and had them put in some wood chip mulch which you can see in the first photo. The quality of their work is about as high as money could buy, and thankfully doesn't cost that same high amount.

For a longer version: I've been trying to get a local business for maintenance of my yard/garden after a restoration from being horribly overgrown by invasive plants (mostly Morning-Glory/bindweed and Himalayan Blackberry). Most of the services I've tried have had issues with the quality of their work, "management issues" (scheduling, communication, etc.), or often both.

The Plant Nerds have had none of these issues, have a level of discretion regarding what I wanted that no other place even asked me about, and if they did ask, didn't actually deliver on. The main thing I wanted them to focus on was "keeping invasives and other things that will completely take over the space out, and leave anything else, even what some might consider 'weeds' like dandelions/etc are fine". If you look at the photos included - which is after they came by for a monthly *MAINTENANCE* visit - you will notice that there aren't any blackberries or morning-glory anywhere. I didn't think to take "before" photos of these spots, but those same areas had almost 1/3 of the space filled with sprouts of either (spring will do that). Most impressively, this involved properly removing some morning-glory sprouts which had started wrapping around those daylilies and hostas, and yet, those plants are doing just fine. They had the understanding to leave that nice little fern near the trees because it was in the "good" category, despite me not specifically asking them to.

Which is honestly better than I have seen anyone else manage, including myself.
Even at my absolute harshest, I am quite pleased.
Are there a few sprouts of blackberry/morning-glory near some strawberries in the last few photos that got missed? Yes.
But there are fewer than 5 such sprouts I could find *AT ALL*, and some of them are right next to other plants that, unless you bent down and looked, you might not even notice they were different plants until they grew out more.

This is a level of discretion and care that I had really thought was unattainable from a business. So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty happy with them.
