A small and cozy family ranch. They serve good breakfast burritos with home grown eggs and grass fed beef. You may also treat yourself to a freshly pressed pomegranate juice. A lovely place to visit!

If you haven’t purchased eggs from The Nest Box please do yourself a favor and go now!! You will not be disappointed! You can definitely taste the difference from store bought eggs! I am forever their customer! Stephanie does an amazing job taking care of the chickens and they are only fed organic food. My daughters even got to feed the chickens and said they had the best day ever!

I love everything about the Nest Box: the owner is hands-on working the farm and you can see the love she pours into every living soul that calls the farm home. Her happy hens produce the most delicious eggs and the owner puts so much care and appreciation into selling their eggs by tying the carton closed with jute twine and placing a beautiful fresh cute flowering herb within the bow. She also sells other items too such as fresh lemons, extracts, and helps a person with disabilities by putting his artwork for sale in the barn. Thank you for sharing your farm with the public, helping your community, and providing beautiful, clean, and nutritious food.

We were in Gilroy on business, we searched for a local egg farm while we were in town and came across The Nest Box on Google. The ranch was peaceful and very country feel. You walk in to the barn, (store) type in your order pay and pick your eggs. Love the self service theme. The eggs are great tasting.

We love this place, they have free range eggs and eggs are tasting very fresh. They have nice vegetables and fruits for selling. People are nice at this place.

I never thought I would be passionate about the eggs I eat, but the eggs from The Nest Box truly get me excited. You get a variety of beautiful organic eggs that range from pale blue, green, brown and white depending on the hen.  In addition to the beautiful and eclectic arrangement of eggs, the yolks are a vibrant orange because the owner feeds her chickens food that are rich in carotenoids such as spinach, tomatoes and pomegranates.

If you want fresh, beautiful eggs you have to try the eggs from The Nest Box.  I travel from San Jose to purchase 4-5 dozen because I know they are high quality, fresh, organic eggs that are a few days old versus a few months old in the store.  I would also recommend their seasonal produce and honey.  Great quality and price and worth the drive!

Have been getting eggs here for I think over a year now. Always good, and a joy to eat. There's a selection of egg shell shades, which I find just charming. You can see the brood producing these when you pick them up, and I am intrigued by the chickens with pants. Part of the charm of living around here.

Thanks Stephanie for sharing your lovely farm with us! We had a blast on the private farm tour - we got to hold a lamb, fed the chickens, cows, sheep, goats and bunnies. We picked up chickens, walked the miniature horse, collected fresh eggs and brushed the bunnies. There was light snack of meyer lemon water, meyer lemon bars and duck egg salad, all made from ingredients produced by and grown on the farm. Stephanie was so kind, patient and helpful - she made sure we had a great time. Come here for farm fresh eggs! We will be back!
