The atmosphere here was great. The bar on the upstairs while you wait for your table was fantastic with great bartenders. The food was great as well, especially the halibut. The crap fried rice is a bit salty so I wouldn’t do that again, but the gnocchi was fantastic! House wine is pretty good as well!

The service at this restaurant was great, but I docked a few stars solely off the taste of the food and the pricing of said food.

My partner and I got the a salad and the crab fried rice. The salad was decent and had a nice aroma to it.

The crab fried rice had a good texture but was extremely salty. I typically like salty food, but even this was a bit too much for me. The texture and sourness of the dish was great on the other hand. The portion and price of this plate is why I docked a second star. Also, the salad although flavors were good and it had a nice aroma, it was also on the saltier side.

Our server William was great and checked on us the perfect amount of times. Even when we said that we didn’t quite enjoy the crab fried rice due to the saltiness, he offered to get us something else to eat even though the kitchen had already closed for lunch.

Overall, I would say this place is worth it if you like salty food, but also if not, the menu had other options that seemed they would be a great alternative to the dishes we had.

We went to The Kitchen a couple of weeks ago for a business dinner, and it was outstanding. There were five of us—three locals and two from out of town (including me). I have to eat gluten-free, and I’m usually disappointed by limited options in swanky restaurants, but nearly everything here was naturally gluten-free and absolutely delicious.

Our host insisted we try the carrots as an appetizer—which sounded odd—but they were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Cooked carrots with whipped feta, pistachio cream and cilantro and mint and some other things I’ve forgotten. Crazy.

We ordered dinner family-style and got to sample a wide variety of dishes. Every bite was fresh, local, and packed with flavor. I went with the cast iron chicken.

Because we booked late, we were seated upstairs, which actually worked out better—it was quiet and perfect for conversation. Drinks were great, service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Not super impressed, unfortunately. The food for what you get portion wise is underwhelming and the taste from everything we ordered was a solid 5-6/10. The chicken was decent, but over-salted, if it had a more interesting seasoning blend, it would’ve been much better but it was still the best thing we ordered. We also got the tomato appetizer, which was almost comically expensive for what you get, which is essentially a small Greek salad. All the ingredients are clearly very high quality so I have to give credit where credit is due in that regard, but it doesn’t justify the price tag. The desserts were good, but nothing to write home about. If it wasn’t so prohibitively expensive, this place might be solid, but for the price, not worth it.

I recently coordinated a wedding reception here and had an excellent experience. The sales manager was very communicative and easy to work with. Serving staff was efficient and professional. And the food was delicious! Everyone had more than enough to eat. Really lovely space for smaller wedding receptions - highly recommend!

We had brunch after Mom's race today at the Kitchen American Bistro in downtown Boulder. The service was solid, the food was great, and the restaurant was packed during brunch. We all had a wonderful experience, the french fries in particular here are out of this world!

Very popular place on Pearl Street. I sat on the patio. The inside was comfy and tables nicely spaced but the patrons were boisterous so conversations would be a little more effort. The tapas style dinner was perfect for sharing. The server was so attentive. He was nice enough to remove the umbrella for us. The distress were tasty, the size was decent and not greasy. Will come back.

Just disappointed. We have always thought highly of this restaurant since they opened but our recent lunch visit was just a dud, all the way around. We waited for 10 minutes before anyone came to offer us water and at that time we were ready to place our order. Our server was visibly annoyed that we didn’t plan on cocktails or other drinks. We had ordered a burger well done, which was pink throughout the entirety. I understand chefs may not agree with that order but it shouldn’t matter if it’s someone preference. But our serve never came by to check on us so we just set it aside until he came to ask if we were ready for our bill. The most uncomfortable part of our meal was when I was waiting by the restroom and our server was at a computer near the restroom and was talking so poorly about a table splitting the bill and was convinced he wouldn’t get a good tip because of it. So awkward and unprofessional. I would hate to think what said about us not having beverages other than water. There’s not many tables in this restaurant so we were at such a loss when we never got checked on. As locals, we are saddened by the experience. It’s a beautiful space and the food is prepared with intention but the service was a huge bummer.
