I LOVE THE VIBE OF THIS PLACE! So many beer drinkers are only concerned with the quality of beer, but the atmosphere of a brewery is just as important, in my opinion. Good Wolf has character in spades! Somewhere between having a beer in the Shire and a witches’ den, they just don’t come much cooler. Some may love breweries that are industrial, but those all bleed into one another. And do the other breweries have a wonderful mascot of a dog named Moose? And the beer? Delightful! I showed up on a Tuesday evening with my family after a long, four hour drive. My theee year old was tired and wanted to see the rock fountain across the street. My three month old infant needed a diaper change and was fussy. The beer tender saw my frustration and offered to bring table and chairs outside to accommodate us. She was so incredibly patient and kind. We decided against that and changed a diaper and awed over a simple rock fountain instead. The wife loaded the kids back up and told me to go get a beer. There was a birthday party happening and everyone was happy and elated. It felt like every local made eye contact and greeted me with a warm smile. And did I mention Moose? He’s worth mentioning again. I’ll be going back tomorrow.

Hmmm How do I say this? I wish they had more than beer. The ambiance is stellar and even more respectable because it’s in an industrial area. As a non-beer drinker I find myself suggesting alternatives when this place comes up….but they do have N/As and snacks so acquiesce and come here anyways.

I don’t drink, but I still had a fantastic time at this brewing spot! My friends really enjoyed the drinks and raved about the variety and quality. The place was super cool, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe that made it easy to hang out and have fun. It’s definitely a great place to spend time with friends!

Very unique tap room. They do have the default IPAs and lager, but they also have extremely interesting, unique rotational beers. Definitely suggest getting the flight. Not being a hops fan, I really loved The Velvet Plume(smoked stone fruit).

No food, just some snacks you can purchase. We also enjoyed the unique ambience. Fairly small. Very friendly staff. I had read it was dog friendly, but I did not see any dogs there when we went.

Really good beers here with some interesting flavors. The facility was nice, if a little dark though. The outside section was covered and had plenty of tables. My favorite brewery in Truckee for sure.

I have drunk the exact same IPA, triple IPA, hazy, and pale ale, brewed in dozens of breweries from Mexico to Canada. This establishment here, sticks out not just for their variety, but their quality. It's not just IPAs here. This fig wine, for example, is really flavorful, and contains the most well-hidden fifteen percent I've had. You just can't argue with these brews. This place is perfect for anyone looking to try something new, but also, it's just great beer for people who will drink anything good, and don't care what it's called. And there are cheeses and snacks and a kettle chip brand you won't find anywhere else. Plus the decor is, like, magical and stuff. You could fall in love and start a new band here.

Yeah this place backs the hype. Not very big but cozy trippy tropical jungle vibe. Beers are fantastic. Best in the region maybe if you like beers with odd tastes and fruity flavors. Nothing too out there though and everything is a bit muted but is easy drinking and a great value. Get a flight and spend an hour or two here.

The beers here are so different than what you’ll find in the area - in the best way possible. The Thai-PA was so fun - had notes of kafir like, coconut and lemon grass. Super dog friendly and the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Get the Boca California lager!
