This was my kids and I first experience with the garlic press and let me tell you I was very surprised. I honestly thought maybe it was a restaurant by the name but it's actually a shop filled with some of everything. My middle son fell in love with the cooking supplies they offered as they sold a particular brand that he was very familiar with. They had everything from beautiful plates,lovely smelling candles, purses from Baggallini, little knick nacks, knives, pans, cooking aprons, steam pots and more. I'm not sure my pictures did it justice to be honest the amount of things they offer. The store even seemed endless at some point not to mention connected to a candy store which we didn't discover until leaving and wasn't sure how to get into it plus we were hungry so we decided we would visit another time. Some of the things we did see were a little on the pricey side so just a heads up there but the quality did seem to be there. It's def a shop worth checking out for sure if you have some free time.

The Garlic Press epitomizes how exceptional the area in Uptown Normal really is. Excellent staff with generous and kind service. The selection here is unparalleled with everything from simple gifts, ceramic pieces, fine crystal, cookware, greeting cards, vulgar socks, amazing chocolates, popcorn, olive oil, and a whole selection of gourmet kitchen necessities. I stop in at least twice a week and it’s always worth my time. Check out some very uniquely Normal gifts!🎁

Interesting store. A little out of my price range but a wide range of kitchen items. Unique kitchen items, if you are buying for someone who likes to cook or you do and money isn't a big deal you should definitely check this place out. Also a fun popcorn shop attached, smelled delicious.

Amazing gift shop! This is a very cute and full of gifting ideas. I bought some candy and flavored oil/vinegar but there are many kitchen items and random things that I absolutely wanted to buy them all.

There are two sides to this establishment, but I spend more time in the sweet shop, usually buying popcorn. This is the best place in town for those who are addicted to Garrett's popcorn.

This is a must-visit when in downtown Normal, IL. They have specialty, gourmet popcorn for every taste. I only buy the mini and junior bags for my own good because I rarely put the twist tie back on a bag before I finish it! They have a wonderful assortment of other fantastic confections too.

The unique shop is many stores in one. You enter to a gift shop. There are high end kitchen items like Le Creuset dutch ovens and nice knives. They have a supply of flavored olive oils and bar items like copper mugs. The back section is a general kitchen store with utensils, gadgets and other items. Another section sells delicious popcorn, homemade candy, and fun prepackaged candy items. All items are good quality. Really lucky to have this store in town!

Great local experience. You’ll find awesome popcorn and hilarious socks in this one location. The homemade popcorn flavors range from bold savory to super sweet. They’ve got something for everyone. You’ll find yourself enjoying free samples beyond what you expected.

The fudge is homemade and unreal good, too! There’s a candy store, taffy selection and good coffee to taste as well.

Grab your family and friends some quirky and awesome gifts they’ll be sure to love. I never leave here empty handed and kids love this place.
