Living in NYC, it’s so hard to give my child the experience of planting and understanding where food comes from. I’ve often wondered how to teach him about things like planting seeds, pulling weeds, and digging for worms, especially since we don’t even have a balcony. That’s why discovering this small urban farm was such a gem. It’s open for kids to fully immerse themselves in the life of a farmer. Though it’s small, they get to plant seeds, water the plants, smell the herbs, and pick fruit. I found out about it through our local community website and was able to book an hour-long session for us. It was a great way to enjoy a ‘farm to table’ experience right here in the city. By the way, the cherry tomatoes were incredibly sweet!

The Battery is one of the beautiful places I ve been. . If you want to go visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island this is the place where you can get the ferry boat ⛴ and see the magnificent sights.

Was repeatedly harassed by people claiming to work for the park service trying to sell us tickets to see The Statue of Liberty! We really felt unsafe.

The park is very beautiful and well maintained. The landscape is well balanced with native plants and trees. Great open space for people to walk, run, dog area amd much more.

1 Nope Rope! 2 Nope Ropes! Really enjoy my time at the park, you can see the Statue of Liberty from there and if you are lucky and brave you can spend some time with Nope Ropes starting at $5... it was a short visit but the 60 seconds of look Mom! Nope Ropes! Priceless!!!
