This place is a must-visit for burger lovers! The burgers are not only delicious but also uniquely crafted with amazing flavors that set them apart from the usual. The fries were the perfect crispy companion, and the wide selection of drinks made the meal even better. The atmosphere is casual and inviting—great for a night out with friends or a relaxed date. To top it all off, the service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable!

@thebaronessbar in Long Island City is a hidden gem, blending a laid-back, retro atmosphere with bold, unforgettable flavors. Known for their expertly crafted burgers and standout cocktails, this spot is perfect for a casual yet indulgent night out. Here’s what we tried:

What we ate:

- The SWAYZE: A double roadhouse burger done to perfection. Juicy, smashed beef patties topped with double cheese, fried onions, tomato, pickles, shredded lettuce, and their signature “Ssshhhh” sauce on a buttery roll. An absolute flavor bomb. *5/5*

- The WANDA: A Baroness classic making a comeback. Shortrib-brisket blend, sautéed onions and mushrooms, double Swiss cheese, and roasted garlic aioli on a potato roll. Rich, savory, and utterly satisfying. *5/5*

- CHEESEBURGER WONTONS: Crispy wontons filled with seasoned beef, a three-cheese blend, pickles, and red onion, served with a hint of their secret sauce. Fun and flavorful, though not a standout. *3.5/5*

- SKILLET MAC N’ CHEESE: Disappointing. Overly crusted and lacking creaminess. This one is an easy pass. *1/5*

What we drank:

The cocktails were just as impressive as the burgers, each one expertly crafted:

- Yoko’s Mule: Bourbon, lychee, and pineapple topped with ginger beer. Sweet, spicy, and perfectly balanced. *5/5*

- Smokes and Flames: Mezcal, Aperol, and fresh lemon create a smoky, citrusy delight. *5/5*

- Dragon’s Breath: White rum, dragonfruit, and lime blend for a light, tropical escape. *5/5*

- The Walking Dead: White and dark rum swirl with apricot liqueur, pineapple, and lime for a smooth, fruity finish. *5/5*

The Baroness is all about indulgence done right. Stick to the burgers and cocktails for an experience you won’t forget, and prepare to be wowed.

Atmosphere (5/5): The interior has a retro theme and dimly lit inside. The bathroom has a million photos of Celine Dion plastered along the walls! Apparently, she came to the establishment to use the bathroom one night! The outdoor dining can seat plenty of seating (and they’re dog friendly!) In fact, if you bring your dog on 9/4, you can get a free beer courtesy of Five Borough Brewing!
Service (5/5): It appeared that most of the patrons on this Sunday evening dined outdoors. However, we felt that there was plenty of service and we were well attended to.
Food: Huge fan that their bun of choice is on potato buns!! Superior option. Their burger portions are on the smaller side. Fries could use some seasoning. Side salad was a bit bland.
Wanda (5/5): Although we weren’t asked how we wanted the burger cooked, the burger was juicy and had a wonderful flavor. The caramelized onions along with the mushroom packed a lovely taste.
Heidi (4/5): I should have stuck with their classic beef patties but the sausage was a great flavor as well. Just in comparison, the short rib brisket was the better part of the burger. Again, the sauce.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I ordered the mango habanero boneless wings and for my drink I had the “Razmatazz” cocktail with gin, fresh blackberries, lemon & creme de cassis) it was an incredibly delectable meal and cocktail combo! The wings were flavourful and juicy while the cocktails were strong and tasty. I highly reccomend you come here alone (or with friends) to appreciate the flavors and quality of what they have to offer. Huge shout out to Marius the bartender who curated a special cocktail for me at the end of my visit which I truly appreciated and enjoyed 😍🥰🥳🤩

Honestly giving this place 5 stars because I live fairly close and it provides a decent veggie burger. This is my second time here and my favorite part both times is the fries !! I do enjoy that I can choose most burger options and just swap for a veggie patty. On the hand my partner gets the beef and usually craves this place when we want a burger but don't want to go far.

We came for the Titanic bathroom, we stayed for the burger. The bathroom lived up to the hype and was absolutely worth the small trip from Bushwick. But the burger was so unexpectedly good—probably the best I've had in several years. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here all the time.

This place has really good burgers and craft beer and the service is great - very friendly and quick. The wings however were dry, a little burnt, not very flavorful, and came with a very sad looking dangly pair of 2 celery sticks and had to ask for blue cheese on the side. I’m also not a fan of the QR Code menus where I have to squint at the tiny font on my phone. The burgers in the range of $17-20 come with a side of either fries or a small side salad - I always go with the latter to make it feel like a ‘healthy’ meal lol. The detailed Titanic-themed bathroom downstairs is pretty funny. They also have a stack of board games available but I’ve never seen anyone playing with them. If this were a dog-friendly establishment, I’d be coming here all the time.

Went there for an early dinner, 5:30pm. Not busy, atmosphere was nice, staff was attentive, food was delicious. Best shoestring fries I've ever had.

They had some classic games to play which is great but some pieces were missing which is not great. If the games had all pieces the review would be 5 stars.
