Recently spent a week at Tempo for a birthday trip with my fiancé. Having read mixed reviews prior I was slightly nervous about our stay, but my concerns were quickly alleviated! ||The reception and concierge team from our arrival to check-out were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough. Our room was absolutely beautiful, modern and spotless with a view of Times Square and down to Central Park. The bathroom was a highlight with a Bluetooth mirror with LED light surround. The housekeeping team came in daily and refreshed towels, and amenities including changing the bed (which was huge!) etc and i couldn’t fault them as it was spotless every time. ||The room has a fridge and a safety deposit box as well as a powerful hairdryer which was handy! We had absolutely no issues with noise, however we were on the 42nd floor and blackout blinds meant there was no light pollution from a busy Times Square below. ||Finally, the location was exceptional and meant you could walk out directly into Times Square, which was a perfect base for us.||Are the fee’s high? Yes, most definitely. But is it worth it? Yes, most definitely!! We paid $100 per night security deposit (which is refundable providing there are no issues) + a $35 per night resort fee. If you go with a credit card, make sure to use this so it doesn’t eat into your hard saved spending money! ||We would most definitely return without hesitation if choosing a Times Square base in future!

Great hotel. When I checked-in, I was told I'd be getting a room with a good view. They lied.:). I got a room with a GREAT view. 16th floor. Not for those queasy about heights - the floor to ceiling windows make you feel like you are outside - but I love that.

Chose Times Square because it was near to almost everywhere I wanted to go. Be warned - it's a really BUSY area (from about 9am to 1am) and it can be a PITA walking anywhere nearby with crowds coming at you from all directions.

Walk two streets down or one or two avenues across and the crowds simply fade away. That was nice.

Also be aware - in addition to local taxes and 'resort' fees - about $40 a night - they put a 'credit' on your room should you want to eat or drink at the hotel's cafes or bars. I didn't. However, it came to about $880. All but the taxes and resort fees was paid back onto my card within a few hours of checkout. But just be prepared for it and don't be caught out.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are gorgeous and the view of Times Square is amazing. Everyone from the front desk staff to the valet staff were incredible. Could not recommend this hotel enough. The hotel rate was also insanely good, I would stay here again

Title: Kessi Made My Stay Unforgettable

From the moment I walked into the Temple by Hilton, I was greeted by the warmest, most genuine welcome—Kessi at the front desk. She made me feel like they’d been waiting just for me to arrive. Her energy was so kind, so friendly, and so comforting, it instantly set the tone for my entire stay.

Kessi went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of. Whether it was helping with special requests or simply making sure I had everything I needed, she handled it all with such care and professionalism. She didn’t just do her job—she made me feel seen, valued, and truly at home.

Honestly, the best part of my whole experience wasn’t just the hotel itself, it was Kessi. She was my favorite part. Her warmth made all the difference, and I’m genuinely grateful for her hospitality.

Great location, ultra modern hotel, comfy beds, great shower and so quiet even though you are right on Times Square. Staff are ultra friendly and shout out to Miguel who helped us when our transfer let us down. |Cool bar with great cocktails, lobby is on 11th floor so no randoms coming in off the street so feels very safe. Resort fee $34 per night which seems standard, does give you $10 credit in the bar and a few other perks. |Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We are currently in Tempo by Hilton Time Square, booked for 4 nights, but we missed a connection flight, so we only checked in on the second night we booked.
While our booking agent stated that we have to pay usd35 per stay at the hotel, Tempo is asking us for 4 times usd35 as the Urban Destination Charge. Not to mention that we only stayed for 3 nights.

We'll definitely dispute this at check out.

What is "included"? Everything such as parking or bike hire credit of which we don't need. Also include $ 10 credit for F&B, but I don't think that will even cover the tip if I dine here. Most important of all, they try to charge 4 times of the fee but not give four times of the credit.

It's at a good location, and the building is well maintained. The room rate definitely reflected that. I find there is zero service from the hotel, it's so stingy that 2 people booked for 4 night stay only get 3 coffee capsules in the room and there is no memo pad or a pen in room, and they call themselves a 4 star hotel

The only thing I can compliment on is the security guards. It feels like there are many of them around and they all have good manners.

I don't normally stay in Times Square when I visit NYC, but did this time to be close to a work conference. I was worried about the noise since this hotel is right in the heart of it, but it was surprisingly very quiet and the blackout drapes worked great. The room was good sized for the location and had some great modern touches, such as the ability to control the lights and window features from the bed. The elevators were different from what I am used to, you have to use your key card or app to select your floor and then it assigns you an elevator, but that just means better security. I would highly recommend staying here if you like being in the heart of it all, but maybe request a room that faces the side street vs Times Square. Also, the subway station was right outside the door if you wanted to go uptown, and a block away to go downtown.

Disclaimer - this is not a luxury hotel. They are missing a lot of perks like room service, minibar, etc. Also no scale to weigh luggage. They have a store in the hotel but it is poorly stocked unfortunately and it's a bit of a walk to get to a target or CVS. However, the view we had was amazing on the 44th floor (ball drop view) and the room was clean and beds comfortable. Service at check-in was chaotic, but the bellhop service was top notch. Just set your expectations that this is a no frills hotel with great rooms and great views and you'll enjoy your stay. The location is great for tourists.
