We stayed overnight on the property through Harvest Hosts. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and gave us a tour of the orchard. Many unique plants, and a beautiful setting. We bought several pounds of their delicious passionfruit and lemons. Such a lovely stay, we’d love to come back and take home some eucalyptus cuttings next time!

I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at Taza Creek Orchard. Right now the avocado, passion fruit and lemon trees are all full of beautiful fruits! The silver dollars and eucalyptus plants all look so healthy and gorgeous. The owners have done so much to repair this property to a healthy and beautiful state. Their goal to produce more fruit per acre allows them to use land, water and other resources more efficiently. And their use of natural methods to control “pests” appears to be effective while allowing more of the native plants and animals to thrive as well. I love supporting the small farmers that make a real difference and show us all how we can grow healthful food while supporting the surrounding ecosystems. I can’t wait to try my avocados which are fresh from the tree.

The host was amazing and greeted us promptly on our arrival. We were treated to a personal tour of the property that is filled with many different crops. The conversation was very informative on the the history and future plans for the orchard. We were offered several peaceful camping spots and the one we chose was very quiet.We would stay there again if we were in the area and our request was excepted .Thank you again for all of your hospitality!

I am over a thousand miles away but have had product shipped to me. It arrived in great shape and carefully packed. The eucalyptus smell was amazing the moment I opened the box. I have made a number of things to sell at the local farmer's market as well as selling the bundles for the customer to do with what they please. Quality far exceeds what I purchased locally. Won't make that mistake again! Jon has been very responsive and anticipates my needs, answering questions quickly and thoroughly since I am new to the floral design arena. Can't wait until they also have flowers up and growing. Great family and happy to support a small but growing business!

A beautiful hidden gem in Fallbrook! Bought some cute succulents as well as a variety of organic eucalyptus. I was kindly greeted by the owners of Taza Creek Orchard who helped me hand-select my new plants for my garden. Highly recommend and will most definitely be coming back!

Taza

This was camping organic style at its finest. It was a steep paved curvy driveway to get up to the reception area, but our 25’ travel van pulling a Jeep Willys Wrangler had no problem. We were graciously greeted by Jolanda who took me to scout out our site for the night. Our spot was located on a road in between avocados on one side and passion fruit on the other. Perfect! She even picked off the trees/vines some avocados and passion fruit for us, and brought some of their organic macadamia nuts. Excellent!
But then it happened. The first rain in a year and our jacks broke in the extended position. Throughout the repair process, Jolanda was ever attentive and concerned for our well being. In the end, we were able to leave just a couple hours later than planned.
We’d definitely return (but skip the rainy season) to enjoy some peace, quiet and beauty.
Thank you Jolanda for being so nice in helping us enjoy our journey.
