My son and I had a blast here. We stayed pretty much open to close. So many things to do here, even for adults. Plenty of staff and all the attractions were open, unlike another pumpkin patch we went to. I definitely felt like I got my moneys worth here.

Tate farms has grown exponentially since its first year 29years ago!! Yes, this seasonal staple of north Alabama is almost 30 years old!
But every aspect of the adventure you’ll embark on when you visit is well worth the price of admission. Think of the price of admission (that I have noticed is a part as to why some people give less stars) as if you are going to the county fair. Once you are within the grounds of this massive yet ever expanding experience. Everywhere you turn is something for the child and the child at heart to have a wonderful experience.
This year the newest edition is the dairy-go-round. A custom, one-of-a-kind Italian hand made carousel!!
But don’t forget the playground (one of the largest in Alabama)
Super slides
Farm animals to learn about.
Where else can you swim in 4 giant cribs of dried corn
Jump on massive jumping pillows.
Have lunch and/or dinner!
Ride out on a hay ride where you can pick your own pumpkin off the vine or choose one from the produce shed. Yes this(food and pumpkins) are all at an added price.
But don’t forget shopping in two gift shops while sipping on Piper & Leaf tea or one of their famous pumpkin slushies.
How about funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, cotton candy or kettle corn?
All things you would pay extra for at the county fair.
So, just remember a visit to Tate farms is more than just a seasonal pumpkin patch.
It’s also a 100 year plus row crop farm. That exudes history all around, as well as entertainment. There is a chance during your visit you can get a glimpse of the cotton pickers, picking cotton nearby, which is always a fascinating site!!
Tate farms is one of north Alabama’s best kept secrets, but just know, the secret’s out and families come from the surrounding areas to experiences this one of a kind treasure of north Alabama!!
Plan your visit now! Before the season ends and you’ll come back year after year! And before you know it, it’s one of your “family traditions” to visit “The Farm”

Went before actual opening season. My husband's company bought it out for a day for an employee outing over a weekend recently. It was still fully staffed and really clean. The hayride and pumpkin picking was honestly my favorite part. There was quite a bit of food to choose from around the grounds and every single employee we interacted with was insanely nice. We're definitely gonna go back once it cools off.

This was my grandson's and my first visit. It was so very fun! My 5 year old g'son had a great time. He wants to know when we will go again. Our visit was part of the ALVA (Alabama Virtual Academy at Eufaula) K12 schooling from home outing. We met some school staff, teachers and students.

The staff are amazing, and my kids always enjoy it here. The drinks, food, and pumkins can get pricey but still a fun time. Definitely recommend going for the experience. I also took both of these pictures there. I know it's not of the farm. But the views are beautiful.

Great family atmosphere. Lots of activities for everyone. Everyone can be a kid and you are encouraged to do so. We held a corporate event here. The staff were so easy to work with and made it worth it. I highly recommend.

Such a cool and exciting place to bring the family! They had a monster truck and magic show, animals to pet, a HUGE tractor hay ride, farm-themed playgrounds/ playground equipment, a track for pedal-car (well, pedal-tractor) racing, a play pin of corn for the kids to jump in, a lot of big trampolines for the kiddos to jump in, and a humongous slide that you ride down using a piece of carpet! Not to mention they had monster truck rides ($10 extra a person) and a SPECTACULAR fireworks show at the end of "Destruction Day". I don't say this lightly but it was probably the best fireworks display that I've ever seen (& I'm honestly not even that big of a fan of fireworks). Destruction Day was pretty fun in itself. We got to smash, hit, crush, and throw all their defective pumpkins, which was pretty great. And it was also an awesome way to get out a little frustration caused by family outings with a toddler ?
If you're on the fence, please don't hesitate to take your kids to Tate Farms. We took pictures and made memories that we'll look back fondly on and will last a lifetime. For us, this place has become an October family tradition. ?
