Great service with our first dining experience
at this Taiwan eatery. We had some classic dishes such as the fried stinky tofu and oyster pancake for starters. Their fried intestines and the clamps and chicken soup were quite good as well. The tofu was probably one of the better versions we have had in a long while. Will return.

Incredibly flavorful and great value for money. Our food came fast too. I would’ve gone more often if I lived nearby but it’s sadly an hour away from downtown manhattan 😭😭

The food at Taiwanese Gourmet is very comforting and filling. We had a spread of dishes and they were all really delicious. I think the stand outs for me were the fried chicken, lamb chops, and mapo tofu. The service was fast. No complaints here, I recommend stopping by if you want a taste of authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

Loved this place! The Oyster Omelette was crispy and delicious, and the Pork and Pickled Vegetable Noodle Soup was so comforting and flavorful. The Clams with Basil were fresh and aromatic, and the Crispy Fried Pork Chop was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Both the Fried Stinky Tofu and Three Cup Stinky Tofu were packed with bold flavors. Every dish was spot-on. Definitely coming back!

Good was amazing for what you paid for food wise, service was great and the hot and sour soup was $7.95 for that portion.. crazy. I would definetly come back here again down the line.

Great spot for traditional Taiwanese food with good service to match. The stir-fried kidney and three cup chicken were the standouts for me – both full of flavor and really well done.

Some of the other dishes were solid but didn’t quite hit the mark, and a couple were a bit too salty. Regardless, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good food. Beef chili was tasty. House special fried rice was also good. Would also recommend the watercress with garlic. Red snapper with chili sauce was not what we had expected. I would skip that next time. Cash only.

One of the last authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Queens. It has a private parking lot in the rear. The place has not renovate in a few years, but it still looks pretty clean. The servers here is always OK.
Pork chop over rice was good. Lacking on the cabbage and egg. But the case is there and is crunchy over a very good dish.
The stinky tofu was OK, again lack of marinated cabbage because this is one of the most distinguished dish for Taiwanese food.
The cuttlefish soup is very small in the amount. It serves for one person only, that's why is only $6.

Will definitely be back soon for other main dishes
