Nice little taco/burrito place! I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito (-sc, +guacamole) platter. I probably wouldn’t return, mostly because of the distance.

First, the burrito tasted pretty good. It was on the pricier side, especially considering the amount of meat on the burrito, which was disappointing. The rice and beans were standard, nothing special.

My husband ordered the chicken flautas. Again, the portion for the price didn’t impress him. They tasted really good, though. He also ordered a Mexican Coke. Make sure you have a bottle opener, we did not.

The kitchen looked clean and the staff was friendly. We received our food very quickly as well. There are only a few tables and the space up to the counter is tight.

Bottom line: mostly standard and decent food. A little on the pricier side.

If you're looking for great tacos and burritos Taco Shop is the place. Have tried several items and the food is cooked and flavored perfectly. Service is great and everyone is always pleasant. One of my favorite spots. Only thing I wish they had are Carne Asada fries. Having lived in San Diego for a few years Taco Shop's food and flavors are on par with some of SD's local spots.

This is my favorite place in Palatine for delicious tacos and now for buying already seasoned and cooked meat by the pound at an incredible value! The owners are absolutely lovely. They take every opportunity to give back to the community, my favorite is the PTA dine and shares. What a gem and asset this small business has been to our community and our tummies! If you haven’t been, you won’t regret stopping by and giving taco shop a chance. The chorizo taco and the avocado taco are my favorites!

I love this place, it's pretty much the only place I go when I want to eat out. The food is great. I really like their tortas, and guacamole. The online pickup experience is very smooth as well.

Usually we order at the restaurant. This time we ordered online. Our food was ready on time and warm. It tasted great. We have chosen the Taco Shop for the burritos and other items many times. We have never been disappointed and will continue to go there.

Multiple times for various office events and bday lunches, and every time, they knock it out of the park. The timely delivery, the always consistently fresh and delicious food, (and attention to food allergies) is much appreciated and Taco Shop is highly requested at our office. Thank you for everything! Tried a fish taco and it was delicious. I also had a Al pastor burrito, delicious. The sauces were so good. I loved the habanero sauce, but all were delicious. I live in Algonquin but would come back for this quality of Mexican food. The staff was excellent and gracious.

Love this place! Their tacos are the best, especially the al pastor! We’ve only done carry out, it’s not a great spot if you’re looking to dine in.
