Susitna Brewing is a cool place, has great views of Big Lake, nice setting, and clean. The food wasn't anything special and it was a bit over priced for what you got. Service was okay but not exceptional. Overall it was an underwhelming meal.

I had The Steak Potine w/ cheese curds... it was so Damn Delicious and the server was a Hoott! Loved the atmosphere and the many Chosess on Good Drink and Delicious Food.

Took the boat out for a good evening and we thought we would finish with going to Susitna Brewery and after ordering our food, it took one hour to get our food. When we got the food it was cold.

Not to mention my friend ordered a Vodka and Coke, it was 90% vodka 10% coke.

Found out why service was bad. Staff has their kids running around and riding a bike in the brewery. Very unprofessional.

Wonderful, dog-friendly place to visit with plenty of outdoor seating and an accommodating staff. Food was excellent, recommend the truffle burger or pizza!

First off let me start off by saying this location is beautiful and could be quiet the romantic dinner for 2 or casual night out in the right setting however this was not my experience my server Ashley was anything but professional when she arrived at our table instead of a proper greeting and telling us about the food or asking are orders I was dumbfounded to find her right next to my partner commenting on his military tattoo and then showing her non meaningful decorative tats in return which she had to pull up her uniform to show which I assume was on her in the first place to cover up because she works at a nice dining establishment she brought no plates when she brought the appetizer pretzel bites
we ate over the table anyway lol but they are amazing beer cheese to die for food was exceptional I had the filot mignon and my partner had the prime rib ? also I would like to mention i love the bartender she was funny warm and welcomeing ♡

Anyway towards dessert ? I would have loved to try dessert and did see some good looking things on the menu earlier however when I asked Ashley for a menu again she told me I could just walk over to the cooler in the front and look in there what Lol overall Ashley is giving this place a Dennys feel needless to say didn't have dessert and this is my review great place just lacking in service

I recently visited Susitna Brewing in Big Lake, Alaska and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor has a rustic charm to it and there was a pleasant aroma of brewing beer in the air.

The menu at Susitna Brewing offers a wide variety of options with something for everyone. Their burgers are juicy and cooked just right, with several topping options to choose from. The wings are also delicious and come with a variety of sauces. But my personal favorite was the fried cheese curds; they were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, making for the perfect appetizer.

What impressed me the most was the selection of beers available. Susitna Brewing offers their own house-made beer as well as other local breweries. The beer was fresh and flavorful, with a variety of styles to choose from. They also have a full bar and a great selection of cocktails, so everyone can find something to sip on.

On Tuesdays, Susitna Brewing hosts trivia night which is a fun and unique experience with a variety of questions for everyone. And on the weekends, they offer live music which really adds to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Lastly, I have to mention the staff who were incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. They made me feel welcomed and truly made my dining experience an enjoyable one.

In summary, Susitna Brewing is a must-visit restaurant when in Big Lake, Alaska. With delicious food, fresh and flavorful beer, exciting events, and amazing staff, this place has it all. I highly recommend giving them a try!
