Sums has been such a staple for the community. They have made sure to keep their food consistency a priority. We have been going to sums for years and they are by far the best Mongolian bbq around. The owner is more than willing to hear any suggestions that customers have and is so warm and inviting. This is a local family run business that does everything they can to provide delicious food to their community. We are very happy to support and continue going to Sums.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. I’m so happy they survived covid.

-The staff is always very friendly and you never wait for anything.

-The dining room could use a makeover, but it’s always very clean and it adds to the charm.

-If you don’t finish your first bowl you can take it home. This makes for great leftovers. (The cooks love when you drop a dollar or two in the tip jar)

-They also have a soft serve ice cream machine, which my daughter loves.

-Good location, just next to the public parking lot.

I was taken here for the first time on Monday, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients are fresh and they have a decent amount of options to customize your bowl. The service was great as well as each member of staff did their best to ensure we had everything we needed.

Where to begin.... AMAZING food, service, and staff! I've been frequenting this business since I was a young child and it never changes.
They always remember me, they greet every single customer with a smile, refresh the waters frequently, the food is fresh, they allow first servings to be boxed up to go and the soft serve ice cream is delicious too!

Thank you for always providing such a tasty place for everyone to eat, providing all your smiles and a great place to share food with friends.

My wife and I have been loyal patrons of Sum’s Mongolian Barbecue for over 20 years. We stumbled upon this gem back in 2001 during a trip through Auburn, and it has since become a beloved tradition for us. Whenever we pass through Auburn, we make it a point to dine here, never missing an opportunity.

The food is consistently delicious. The variety of fresh ingredients and the ability to customize our meals always leaves us satisfied. Whether we crave savory meats, crisp vegetables, or a flavorful combination of sauces, the quality and taste never disappoint.

Beyond the exceptional food, the service is always amazing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and ensures that our dining experience is pleasant every time. Over the years, we have come to feel like part of the Sum’s Mongolian Barbecue family, and that personal touch makes each visit special.

I like this spot, it’s nice for the most part. The price is a little high for what you get but that’s okay! Some other spots I’ve been to you get one bowl for toppings / meat and one bowl for noodles, but here you only get one medium size bowl for everything. The food is very very delicious! I would recommend coming here when you’re VERY hungry!!
