Visited for a friend's birthday. Small, but good vibes. Will was an excellent host. Small but excellent selection of meads. Was fun to hangout. Hoping they expand the features (rumor of a small game room?). Definitely recommend.

So sad they were not there. Drove 4 hrs to share my mead and try there's. When I arrived there were 2 guys there also with some amazing honey, they were also there to share. Another couple showed and were there to buy mead. Said last time they came there was only pomegranate for sale. So I guess Strad missed out on customers, to try some amazing mead and some great honey. Hopefully they caught the hunt.

I tried citrus mead at the renaissance fair last weekend and I liked it. So I bought a bottle of original and blueberry. Very disappointed. Original is more like beer. Blueberry is very vinegar. They don't taste right or good to me. Especially at $20 per bottle. I'll drink them but I won't be wasting my money on this brand again.

Great stop, definitely recommend. While I'm a beer guy personally, my girlfriend likes mead so we figured we would check it out and was glad we did. Light, crisp meads that are awesome. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place is amazing! Great mead, great people you can't go wrong. At the time of visiting a tasting flight was only $10.

Plus, dungeons and dragons on first Sunday and Jim (ran the tasting room) was amazing!!

Typically i love Strads mead. Every renaissance fair i've been to I drink a lot of it, and usually buy several bottles. I also ordered some online and never had an issue before. But very recently I bought 6 Bottles and every single one of them tasted very strongly of vinegar... idk if the process has been changed recently or just something happened with this batch. But i doubt i will purchase more. Unfortunately it seems to be happening to others as well, a few of my good friends that also bought several bottles had the same strong vinegar taste. Don't get me wrong, when it tastes as it should it is some of the best mead i've ever had and can't get enough. I am just disappointed with my recent purchase.

It's one of the best meads I've ever tasted! The owner is so kind and let me sample them before I bought a bottle. I bought one of the pomegranate and cranberry, so delicious! I am looking forward to blackberry and dragonfruit when available!
