I have shopped at this store for a number of months now. Employees except the cashiers appear grumpy and unhappy to be working there. The stock people might as well run over the customers; they definitely seem more important than the customer.

Lines so long always snaking into aisles.
11 registers but only 3 open, on a high traffic time of Sunday Afternoon.
Forget about self checkout. That line also 15 minutes. And you’ll end up having to wait for store help to clear some code or whatever.

DO NOT come here unless you have 20+ minutes extra for the check out.

My 2 issues are with the deli dept/ produce. When I ask for a certain amount of cold cuts it’s never accurate, and it’s not in my favor. Today I ordered 1lb of turkey and when I got home and weighed it, it was 0.78lb.. and only reason I weighed it was because one of the workers asked the other lady if the weights were accurate that day? What is that about? I understand they go over by a little in weight but to cheat customers How often does this happen? And why does it smell moldy in the refrigerated areas with produce. At this point I will go to guintas.

The deli was understaffed (during holiday season) when I visited this afternoon. There were two guys behind the counter, but only one helping the customers. There were two people ahead of me so the wait was long. I decided to do the rest of my shopping and return. When I did, I was happy to see there was no line. I patiently waited for the gentleman behind the counter to finish his task. He then took my order, which was just a 1/2 lb of cheese, but then he disappeared to take a phone call. I waited five minutes which may not sound long but it was! I then left to go talk to someone at the front desk. Incidentally, the other man behind the counter was clearly offering no support to the one person taking all of the orders and now a phone call. I spoke to a manager named, John, and asked him if they were short staffed at the deli to which he replied, “I didn’t think so.” I explained my experience and he walked away to see what was going on. By this point I had already waited twice and decided I wasn’t going to purchase the cheese, so I went to the self checkout to pay for my groceries. When John returned, he was surprised I was still there. He was completely unapologetic and told me if I had “simply waited” I would’ve been served. He clearly didn’t listen to the fact that I had already waited twice. In speaking to me, he referred to me as “dear” which felt completely condescending. When I brought that to his attention, he didn’t seem to understand why I felt offended and then referred to me as “Miss” in the same condescending tone. He did offer to give me something for free, but I told him I didn’t want free groceries. I just wanted to let him know that this man was working alone in the deli and as a result of the wait I walked away (twice). Silly me thought he might care. I definitely was feeling agitated because he clearly didn’t listen nor did he offer an kind of apology and was condescending. He said, “Have a nice day,” and dismissively walked away. I then ask the girl at the front desk if there was someone else I could talk to because I was annoyed that a manager handled the situation so poorly. She told me that his boss was Tony, who I learned is the store manager, but apparently there is no way to get in touch with Tony nor do they know when he’s going to be in the store. The best she could offer was to leave a note on his desk which I wasn’t going to do. What a frustrating experience and what a poor response on the manager’s behalf. From now on I’m happy to go across the street to Guintas, where their deli is always well staffed…and their produce is sooo much better! This store gets two stars because the pharmacy staff is wonderful!

Good enough as a grocery store, but some of the staff are hilariously incompetent or just absolutely apathetic. My partner and I were visiting from overseas and went to buy alcohol. The clerks on 2 different occasions were so perplexed by an ID which didn't have a bar code they could scan. They presented like cattle witnessing a UFO. I was looking around for the hidden camera show presenter because I couldn't believe how switched off their brains seemed - truly a hilarious spectacle.

I usually go after 8:30-9:00 pm on a weeknight. Can't complain. I know what I want ahead of time. Not a lot of people. Only 2 to 3 lanes open, but the self checkout lanes are available. Deli service is great, they get the job done.

For some reason, a lot of random things that my family like are either out of stock constantly or they’ve just stopped being made. Customer service is fair depending on who is working that day.
