just tried another little storefront restaurant in Palos Heights along Harlem Avenue that is a total winner! It is called Steve's Bite. Low prices and great food with a nice eclectic mix of menu items. And an interesting soda fountain...not the usual selection of Coke or Pepsi products but rather Jones cane sugar sodas...a refreshing surprise! I had the yummy apple soda with my Philly cheese steak and pizza puff and fries. If you like pizza puffs this place has the lowest price pizza puffs ($3.99!) I've seen anywhere...AND it comes with a side of sizzling hot french fries. My Philly cheese steak was absolutely delicious. And the staff were pleasant, smiling and very helpful and friendly. Always a plus! The little restaurant has four tables and some counter seats... But it seems most their business is carry out. This little restaurant is right on Harlem right across from Rbikes or as you may know it as Richard's Palos Bicycle Shop.

We ordered Philly Steak and Veggie Pita. They were both very delicious! The ingredients used were fresh. My wife really enjoyed her Veggie Pita. They are 100% Halal. The person that helped us were very nice. The decor is really cool. We will definitely come back.

We have never eaten in their restaurant, but we have done delivery alot, they are quick, reasonably priced, and the food is good. Just wish they would give 6 cheese sticks instead of 4 with the cheesestick basket meal. Their super steak taco is amazing. And we love when we open the food carton and they write us little notes. You definitely need to check them out!

Got the Chicken Philly sandwich! Had a unique flavor was also sweet . First time trying this place about 8 to 10 bucks a sanwhich. Small but nice place to grab lunch .

This place is ridiculous went here got a chicken pita just terrible a drizzle of cheese I had to pay for to put on the sandwiches it did not come with cheese . no sides I mean nothing then I pay 5 bucks for this small drink when the sandwich alone is 20 bucks never again.

They send me a receipt and that’s not even my receipt I have not been no where near that place today . Omg

The food is really good there is no denying that. But when I get a gyro platter which comes with pita, and then you give me garlic bread instead and write “be creative” on the box, something isn’t right. I wish you let me know if you were out of pitas and I would have gotten something else. Gyro meat and garlic bread wasn’t what I ordered.
At the end of the day the food is still terrific.
