However, some recent reviews suggest a shift in the quality of certain menu items, particularly burgers, with concerns raised about a move towards a more mass-produced, fast-food style preparation. One recurring theme is the nostalgia for the company’s earlier offerings, where the burgers were perceived as superior in taste and texture – characterized as “a good combo meal.”

Several reviews emphasize the enduring appeal of the fries, consistently described as the “best in town.” This suggests a core product that remains a point of pride and a key reason for continued patronage. The sentiment of “Small family owned place” reveals a strong sense of community connection and a commitment to preserving traditional values. The change in burger preparation – moving from a flat top to a similar method used by fast-food restaurants – seems to have been a notable transition, impacting the perceived quality and flavor.

Customer service has always been great. The burgers are not what they were years ago. The food was cooked on a flat top, now it’s the same as fast food. My burger was hard to chew with little flavor. This place was the spot for a good combo meal up until a few years ago. The fries are still the best in town. Small family owned place!

I'm writing this review and I'm giving them a 5 purely for their customer service when we received our order it was about 75% thawed out but it's also been several 90゚ days. When I called them and explained the situation, they said they would ship it the following week with more ice so this review is based purely on them doing the right thing thanks so much.
