I've been coming to this beach for 20 years. Water is great---so is the sand.
Two months ago, the attendant lent me a pair of swimtrunks. Where else would you get service like that? There is a place to change into your swimsuit.I swam there once in October . Next time you go to Grand Island Mansion bring a swimsuit and go to Steamboat Acres beach. Visitors are usually families and a boat or two. The beach is on the north side, so it is always warm. A trip to the Delta is not complete without a visit to Steamboat Acres beach near Courtland, CA. A real gem.

Excellent Place!. Great food. World class BBQ, beer and food. Fantastic new building and it feels like you are miles from civilization. Much nicer than anything I've experienced in the Delta, kind of takes it to a new level.

Didn't need it the restaurant but right across the street there's a beach to fish on cost you five bucks during the day it's an excellent Beach picnic tables nice Sandy Beach excellent place to fish caught many nice stripers from there. Very Serene at night beautiful place to just kick back in the evening and do some good fishing love it there been fishing there for over 20 years.

It's nice and small. I hear you can bbq too for an extra price. Just beware of that current and don't underestimate that water. It will make you pay. But overall, the place is cool.

I came for the beach and was very happy. The restaurant was not open yet but my friends have been to restaurant. They really like it. Easy to find. Friendly. They support the Delta.
