I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in the Queen's area and I was blown away by how beautiful and delicious it was! This Thai restaurant gave me so much joy 😍 Every dish I ordered was fantastic!

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, especially towards children. The prices were reasonable and it's a perfect spot for birthdays and gatherings. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience.💯

This is our go to since 2016. Even if we moved to maspeth until now it will always be our favorite. The portions and flavors it’s been consistent since then. They also have great selections from the menu. Hopefully they should slow down on prices. I noticed every year the prices goes up.

Spicy Shallot has quickly become my favorite Thai spot in Woodside, Queens. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the drunk noodles, which were packed with flavor and had the perfect level of spice. The Tom yum soup was a warm, comforting mix of tangy and spicy, hitting all the right notes. To top it all off, I finished with their Mango sticky rice for dessert, which was simply divine and sweet, creamy, and refreshing. If you're looking for authentic Thai in the neighborhood, this is the place to go!

I love the Tamarind duck is so delicious, mango shrimp salad and Salmon appetizer is good to start, the fish and seafood soup are fresh, highly recommended this Thai style restaurant.

Amazing food and service! The food was incredible and the flavour amazing! The duck was phenomenal and the salmon fresh and delicious! Their volcano ice cream was literally a volcanic show in itself. Definitley a great place for a dinner date! I would highly reccomend this spot!

I recently dined at Spicy Shallot and had an overall delightful experience. The ambiance was great, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The service was fabulous with attentive staff who ensured a pleasant dining experience.

For appetizers, I ordered the crispy calamari served with a sweet chili dipping sauce. While it was okay to taste, the highlight of the meal was definitely the crab meat fried rice and the crispy volcano chicken. Both dishes were exceptional in taste, though the volcano chicken was a bit sweeter than I generally prefer, it still did not disappoint.

We also tried the volcano roll from the Japanese menu. It was a good roll, though not particularly special. In comparison, I must say that the Angry Dragon Roll from Matsuri Restaurant in Woodside remains one of the best rolls I've had.
