What a fun place recommended in yelp and Google. They have delightful winery and cheese pairings. Skip the blue lake winery as they don't really help customers experience tastings and they lie about review comments. Try out Spenker for a fun time with sweet staff, silly goats, and yummy tastings.

Baby Goats! ? So adorably cute!!❤️ Tonight we attended "Good Night Goats" where we read a story to the baby Goats after which they were put to bed for the night. The baby goats had very distinct personalities! Some were shy, some rambunctious, some very friendly, some hopped right on your lap, and some became very attached & comfortable with you that they actually fell asleep right on your lap! Some were a bit bigger than our cats at home. After the baby Goats were put to bed we enjoyed goat cookies with a cup of goat milk of course which was delicious! Everyone was so kind, friendly & knowledgeable regarding the goats, farm, wine & cheeses especially the "Goat Girls"? We've been to a few goat farms from Grass Valley to Half Moon Bay & this farm by far, is absolutely the best, most hands on, cleanest place to get your baby goat fix on & best of all it's only 10 minutes away from our home!!! Can't wait to come back , and taste the wines & goat cheeses. Thanks to all that put this little slice of heaven together. Will definitely be back?

The place is so beautiful surrounded by fields of vines, the barn and the tasting room. Then there were the goats... Dozens of them from two weeks old to years of age. What a delight they were! No kids of my own just my wife who is goat crazy and she absolutely got her fix. Sitting in the barn with three or four little goats jumping into her lap and gnawing at shoe strings was her heaven! Well be back for more!

The family! They were the kindest and most hospitable people I've met in a while. Just good people with good values.

The cheese! We bought two types of goat cheese and loved them spread out on bread. Next time we'll try one of their samplers to get a better idea of the flavors offered.

We can't speak to the wine as we weren't there for that but next time... Yes well try it.

All in all a great place for all ages.

We came here today for a cheese tasting and my son and I had a great time. I don't drink but I love that they offered a cheese tasting and you get to see their goats that produce the milk for it. Plenty of social distancing observed. The tables were a good distance apart from each other and they have signs up on their door requiring face masks. We went into the little storefront that resembled a barn and the lady behind the counter was extremely nice and friendly. Bought 2 cheese tastings and a 4oz container of Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt. We went outside, said hello to all of the goats and then picked our table. They brought everything to us and offered us cups of water. We did the tasting at our own leisure (which is great when you have a picky 7 year old), and enjoyed the outdoors. When we were done, headed back in and she helped us pick out some squash they had for sale and was just really nice the whole time. I ended up buying the herb spread and the gouda-like cheese and the bag of zucchini and yellow squash for $25. The cheese tasting was $5 each and the 4oz Froyo was $4 so in all for this lovely afternoon, I spent $39 here. Keep in mind that wine tastings are $10 each so I saved a couple dollars there. I do highly recommend this little day trip though. It was a much needed stress break so if you're out this way, come visit.

As someone who's worked with goats for most of my life, I can confidently say that these are some healthy and happy goats. Lots and love and care is given to each goat, and their well being is taken very seriously. Each one is individually observed for potential health or behavior problems, and even their individual grain intake during milking is adjusted for things like their weight or if they need additional dietary supplements. I know first hand what a bad dairy looks like. This is not one of them.

We were tired from the long drive to Lodi, so this was a great first stop in terms of relaxing surroundings. The goat cheese flight was fantastic and we bought several (be sure to ask for the mini-cooler and ice pack for $8). However, the wine was near the bottom of the list compared to all of the other places in Lodi. The goats were cute, but there's no real interaction with them and the grounds are fly-blown as you'd expect from a farm. Totally worth the stop for the cheese though.

The Spenker Family Farm is welcoming to people of all ages. Goats are bred and raised here, with a creamery to produce goat cheese. Grapes are grown, and with that comes the wine to accompany the cheese. Nearby are the chickens for those farm fresh eggs. You might get a chance to meet Houston, the livestock guardian who is an Anatolian Shepard and towers above the Nubian goats. There are many events to interact with the goats through the spring and summer. And let us not forget the humans too, everyone is friendly and a wealth of knowledge for those who come with questions.
