This is a must stop when it comes to smoke meats. The salami varieties that Spars offers is amazing. They do alot of in house smoke meats and the quality is very good. They end up running out really fast. People who know about this place, can't help but to get pounds upon pounds of smoke meat delights. Now that you know about this place, get down there and enjoy what I have been eating for a while now.

The best place for a wide variety European style fresh, smoked, and frozen sausages as well as fresh and lunch meats, local cheeses, and stuff with a Buffalo twist to it as well. I love their weisswurst and their bacon!

2025 edit: I'll severely miss Joe and Beth, and Spar's! Happy retirement!

Great customer service! I was able to get there right at opening and they were able to make fresh Hungarian sausage very quickly for me! I highly recommend! It was so delicious when we grilled it up!

Excellent Polish Sausage and Pork products. A clean butcher shop that smells like garlic as soon as you walk in. Extremely friendly staff and helpful with suggestions on trying new varieties of Pork Sausage. I highly recommend their Sausage!

Anything you get from here will be outstanding. Always get a couple pairs of Landjäger to snack on from the shop to your car...or to eat all of them on the way home :). The people here are knowledgeable and clearly love what they do — and it really shows in the product here. Don't miss out on this place.

Everything I've had here has been amazing. I especially like the homemade sauerkraut, kielbasa and kabanosy. They have a ton of different types of sausages from Hungarian to Andouille, and the staff is super friendly.

Amazing places like this are becoming a rarity. Making homemade European sausages and various cold cuts. I hope this place stays around for a very long time. Probably the best bacon in buffalo. unique sausages such as Hungarian that you can't find anywhere. Almost all cold cuts and sausage are made in house. Best olive leberkase (olive loaf)and hot pepper leberkase(pepper loaf) ever had in my life. The Bockwurst loaf and krakauer are absolutely amazing. Definitely go check this place out if you're in the old saudages & cold cuts.

We recently hosted a German Club dinner at our home in Vermont. The authentic Bavarian Bratwurst I had brought from Spar's were a real hit! Made from humanely raised beef and pork from Eric Spar's own recipes. Delicious, and well worth the trip to the west side, near Buffalo State College. One of the few remain German butchers in the area.
