After several bad experiences with other companies, we had a friend recommend SWDI to us for our rental property. We just needed a reliable company to mow, weed as needed and trim. The times we have gone to check on the property, we have found the service SWDI provided to be lacking care (damages to our property from string trimmers) and not thorough. We felt that because the property was vacant at the time, they were not taking the time or care to do a thorough job. Weeds 3 feet tall growing in the patio or in walkways, piles of leaves behind side gates to the backyard, and our irrigation was damaged, and we weren't well informed of the severity. When we signed up for their services, we had negotiated a lower rate for the winter months, since service was only once per month, but they continued to bill us for two services per month, when clearly there were not servicing us that often.
When we cancelled our service for December, we requested that no more visits were to be made to the home. They tried to tell us that they had already serviced the property that month, which we knew to be untrue (we had been there during the time they said they had serviced it). We agreed that November would be our last billing month, to repay for damages they had caused. They continue to send us a December bill for payment and refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing.

After our pool heater wiring got chewed up by pack rats, their tech Keith did a great job re-wiring it in under an hour. Another pool company suggested we needed a new heater for north of $5K, but it's up and running great for under $150. I recommend the pool crew of Brand & Keith very highly.

I had three overgrown cacti and yuccas. They sent out a crew of three ( Oscar, Rico and Arturo). In less than 90 minutes they quickly removed those three large plants. These people know what they are doing and they have the equipment; a skid steer, a dump truck and a large trailer. They were efficient and safe.. I had other bids for this job and Southwest Desert Images was the best. They were on time, on budget and easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

Communication seemed lacking between different job managers and their schedules for getting to our home. Also, some workers showed up unexpectedly 2 weeks sooner than we were originally told they would.

Do not expect a call back for a small job or someone in the office. I went into the SW Desert Images office and explained the small job I needed done. Barb explained that someone would call me - no one did. I then stopped by the office during normal business hours and there was no one around.
