My wife and I visited the tasting room on March 2, 2025. The owners are very nice and even hosted our wine tasting on a Sunday afternoon!!! We loved all 8 flavors and purchased 12 bottles!! I highly recommend all their wines, as none of their wines have grapes, just the wonderful flavors of the fruit used for each one!! Except the rhubarb, it's a vegetable...Duh!! We presently haven't joined the wine club yet, but we are going to join the 12 bottles delivered quarterly!!!! Thank you Jim & Julie for producing a slice of heaven for us to enjoy!!

Absolutely lovely! This winery is a true gem and has been a staple at our family gatherings since their opening! We served their huckleberry and pear wines at our wedding nearly ten years ago and continue to mark special moments with a glass. It’s local, family owned, and absolute quality. Being from Michigan, we were having a difficult time finding sweet wines in the Washington/Idaho area. We came across Sheppard Fruit Wines and stopped in for a taste. The owners dropped everything they were doing just to give us a one-on-one tasting of their wines. Every wine they had was absolutely delicious! The owners were some of the nicest people we have met and we were thrilled to have found a wine to our tasting out in that area. We highly recommend the rhubarb and the huckleberry wine. In all honesty, every wine they had was delicious!

Just tried this wine for the first time this week, I just recently moved to Idaho and bought from the farmers market. I am so delighted! The rhubarb is my favorite so far, but the huckleberry is also soooo good. Just the right amount of sweetness that doesn't overpower you. I'm almost out, and I can't wait to get more!

Bought a bottle of Sheppards huckleberry wine and it is super. I have tried at least four different brands and this is the very best. If you want one that taste huckleberry you better buy this one.

The huckleberry wine they sold me tastes nothing like the sip they gave me at the farmers market. No one could drink it. We had to dump it out. Smells like dirty socks and tastes worse.
