My family has been coming here since the late 1950s. Not as often as we would like just due to distance, but boy what a great place.
Phoenix is fortunate to have this institution. So friendly, so good, so small! Who would know the business they do out of this small store.
Everything around Schreiners has changed, but this place takes me back over 50 years instantly and I always leave with a smile and looking forward to the next time.

These are some of the nicest, most well-mannered people out there. We arrived just four minutes after closing to pick up some kielbasa for our family Easter dinner this weekend, and the gentleman told us not to worry. The lady at the door greeted us with a smile and held it open for us. Another kind woman took our order, and at no point did we feel rushed or as if they didn’t want our business.

Everywhere else (whether it’s a restaurant, retail store, or any other establishment) you’re made to feel rushed, doors are locked early, or staff are strict about closing time. I can’t express how refreshing it was to feel like we stepped back in time and experienced genuine service and hospitality. It’s rare these days, especially in the city.

I used to come here as a kid with my parents, and I’ll definitely be making it a point to come more often now. They also sell cheeses, bruschetta, and other great charcuterie board items. Thank you!

This is a staple for me. My wife swears by the Chorizo. I get sausages of the German variety. Good quality stuff. Pigs ears for the dogs too. I tried to stop here whenever I am near.

I am so glad we found this place! The ladies that work there are very nice and helpful. They have tons of really amazing sausages, lunch meats, cheeses and pickles. We love their brats and chicken apple sausages. In addition the Genoa Salami is next level. If European sausages is your thing, this should be your go to place.
