We visit Webb Ranch every October for the Pumpkin Patch and associated activities. They have hayrides in a stake bed trailer pulled behind a great old tractor. There are pint rides, tiny train rides, and lots of interesting pumpkins!

Nice small pumpkin patch, never crowded. They tend to increase rates over the years though.

We went for the pumpkins and wanted a bit more of an experience. Webb Ranch was super crowded with parking available only on the street, which sees a lot of cars driving fast, and weekend road bikers along Alpine road. Each activity needed a ticket, one for the reptile zoo, one for the jumpy house, etc. That's to be expected, but the tickets were five bucks each, which seemed excessively high. On top of that, some of the activities, like the hay ride, had huge lines with equally long wait times. So we skipped them. There were food trucks that were also terribly overpriced. Next year, we'll keep looking, even if we have to go a bit farther.

The place is small but perfect for our son who enjoyed every bit of it. Aside from that the Farm is located in a beautiful area close to SLAC Stanford. The farm is Certufied Organic so rest assured all Pumpkins are organic plus other fruit that you can purchase from their little stands at the Patch.

This review is for Group Trail Rides only:

We were a group of 15 riders - 12 young girls and 3 adults having the group trail ride last Sat. We were very disappointed in the management. It was a 2 hours event - end up we spent 15 mins in instructions, more than 1 hour in waiting for all of us to get on the horses; maybe 30-40 mins in riding. There was only 1 teacher working to get the horses ready and helping us to get on the horses. There were a lot of young helpers but they didn't know what to do. The waiting was very long and unacceptable. If they could arrange 2-3 teachers to streamline the process of getting on the horses and getting the horses ready, the experience would be different and much better. The girls who got on the horses early had nothing to do in the stable, just sat on the horses and waited for everybody. Some girls were scared when the horses wandered around because they were bored too. For the girls who waited patiently on the ground, they were thinking - when would be my turn

I would say Webb Ranch should refund some of our money back. We will go to other equestrian centers next year.

A petting zoo to pony rides, there's so much to do in a relatively small, contained area. Great for kids aged 3-8.
