Had the opportunity to tag along for a wedding tasting, and it was such a wonderful experience! David really created a welcoming and comfortable environment for our group. He was able to get a feel for what my sister and her fiancé envisioned for their wedding day and was prepared with options and ideas.
The food was top notch and showcased a variety of flavors and styles. Our group absolutely loved the beet and goat cheese crostinis as well as the flat top grilled tacos. After a few bites, we could tell the bride and groom were absolutely sold!
I really can't say enough good things and I'm so excited for David and his team to join us on the big day this September!

David and his crew created the best brunch for our wedding! Everyone still tells us how good the brunch was that morning with the amazing waffle bar (savory and sweet), Bloody Mary shooters, egg muffins, fruit and the orange juice/coffee bar. The presentation also blew us away. David and the crew are very professional with no hiccups and everything was setup and ready to go on time.
We will definitely be recommending The San Luis Valley Food Company for any and all events in the future!

David is absolutely exceptional to work with! His food is not only mouthwateringly delicious, but he also goes above and beyond to provide a variety of options to accommodate all dietary needs. By using local ingredients whenever possible and crafting stunning, creative displays, David truly brings a personal touch to his catering. Incredible David Carlberg and his team provided absolutely fabulous food for our son and his wife’s September wedding!! They did a remarkable job in a fairly remote area bringing staff, equipment and locally sourced delicious food for 250 people, a remarkable achievement and magical evening!

This is a wonderful find in the middle of the San Luis Valley! This is not a typical grocery store. While they have many products one would find in a grocery store, they also have a huge selection of bulk foods. Their deli is great, locals stop by to grab a quick lunch for a very reasonable price. We love this place and stop by often to stock up on things we often eat. It is worth the drive to visit this business.
