The San Juan Ranch is a really quaint guest ranch with personality like none others. The owners treat you like family and are so gracious to make their home your home during your stay. The fishing opportunities - lakes, creeks, Rio Grande River - are amazing and very accessible as the ranch is nestled in the center of all sorts of outdoor sporting activities. We like to take Jeep trails, hike, fish and relax so find this guest ranch a perfect location for all of these. This year we noticed they have remodeled several cabins and are working on more to make their guests' stays even more enjoyable. We lease a pioneer cabin and love its history and charm. Love cooking on a wood stove, even though we do have other modern amenities to make meal prep easier. There's just something about food prepared on a wood stove you can't beat! We've met many people over the 30 years we've been coming to San Juan Ranch from Topeka, KS and admit you won't find nicer people. Our kids and grandkids love it too - especially the ice cream and burgers at nearby Freemon's General Store!

We just spent a few days at San Juan Ranch. What a beautiful area of Creede so relaxing and fun! And Peggy is such a wonderful lady. We will definitely be back. We just spent a week here I must say it was nothing like last year. When I finally caught up with Peggy to pay for our stay it was a lot more than than she told me it would be for a much smaller cabin.I thought she was rude to my husband. I can say this was the last time this Native Colorado family will spend our time there. She caters to the Texans!! Denise Keck

I have been there twice & this is my favorite place on earth! I really hate leaving. The trout fishing is like no other place on earth. I can’t wait to return!! ❤️

Weekly or seasonal furnished cabins for rent on private property. Some are the converted trailers, some are the open floor plan A-frame cabins upwards of 100 years old. No pets. Bring your own amenities.
