My father had decided to take me my mother and my little brother who had just recently got back from University. where he is studying abroad. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday and My father had excellent service the last time he was here with his friends and explained to me he sat in the back with the tents. We sat in the front this time. Long story short, immediately the service there was not to his expectation. It took about 15 minutes just to get our order and nobody was looking to acknowledge us and dismissed us while assisting im assuming the regulars as the lady working at the front was very friendly greeting them. It took about 45 mins for us after ordering to get our first acknowledgment for our wait and we were asked “did you guys order yet?” Not jumping to conclusions but I assumed our food wasn’t even made yet. Customers in the front sat after us, order after us and got their food half an hour earlier. Finally what seemed like an hour and 20 minutes, there was no dressing on my mother and father’s salad, and the food that is supposed to come with our orders was very minimal at best. My father had to flag people down multiple times just to be served some wine. I frankly lost my appetite at the disgust of my father asking where our food was and the lady muttering curse words as she walked away. The dismissive and eye rolls was body language that particularly concerned me as a Wealth management Banking employee, we hand out small business loans to these small local businesses. As a banking employee around my business bankers especially in the elmont region, I can frankly say this restaurant was not to our expectations. I service multiple humble business owners who put their passion for servicing their customers not servicing their friends and half effort with someone else, especially new customers. Finally the bill was served and all we got was have a great day. A quick walk away like the lady in the pictures here with the staff also there. The attitude I felt from the final interaction was that they couldn’t wait to get rid of us. I do not so much care for myself as for my father who hand picked a Italian restaurant 30 mins away which I could’ve recommended for our family as they themselves are Italian and love these types of restaurants. If I get a response back I would like for you to personally email me because I would like my father to be acknowledged a little better. And if service is like this for these small restaurants, as a banker I have to say my perception and expectation was not met. Unfair to all these small business that come to us for a chance. Please be better for the next customers who will have an opportunity to eat here

I recently tried the new brunch, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. The mimosas were some of the best I’ve had in a while. The portions were so generous that everyone had leftovers to take home. Overall, a great and enjoyable brunch experience!

They lost a loyal customer due to poor customer service

Called in for a delivery. I felt like as I was placing my order, the lady was rushing me on the phone. I could barely get a chance to talk. It made me very uncomfortable. However, I was able to complete my order.When my card got dinged for the balance i saw it was way over than what i would have paid through the website. When i Call back to discuss this The lady was talking so fast. I couldn’t get a word in And I felt like if she just give me a second, for me explain to her what I am seeing on the website then maybe I can amend my order or cancel and resubmit through the website instead . She said she already started my order. I literally called back less than 2 minutes of placing the order. How far could she have gone with the order? Then she tries to throw in “free” garlic knots which i know are free(Remember, I ordered from them all the time). Coming from a family who is also in the restaurant business knows you try to make right with recurring and loyal customers. I was mostly disappointed in the service not the pricing. Not giving me a chance to speak, amend or resubmit and telling me they already started my order (lies) just as i placed my order less than 2 mins ago is poor service. They technically could have continued making my order Even if I canceled because they will soon see a online order come through for the same exact request. At least I would’ve paid what i anticipated & i would have remained a customer . Anyway i hear Dario’s is real good so I'm moving on and any more school orders will also be placed at Darios.

Had a dinner for my daughters 18th birthday. 6 adults and about 14 teens. We had a fantastic time. The food was great, so much and enough to take home. They made her birthday so special. I will definitely be back. The value, service and atmosphere we terrific.

The food was good, atmosphere was nice, but the service is what makes this place amazing. Plus the free garlic knots, pizza, and Cinnamon buns makes me want to come here again and again.

I can't say much about the pizza but the one or two slices I got there weren't that good. Sitting outside having lunch, the entrees were pretty solid. The staff was very friendly and service quick and efficient. Pictured: Chicken Marsala, Veal Franchese, Chicken Parmigiana, Shrimp Scampi, Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and Arugula Salad with Prosciutto.

Absolutely terible. Ordered over 140$ in food for pick up, right off bat they didn’t have any of the desserts I ordered and threw some horrible looking Oreo cheesecake in the bag without even mentioning missing item. When I mentioned where were my desserts I was told we gotta update menu. Than when I get home I open up everything and they forgot two orders of Zeppoles as well as a salad and the “heart shaped pizza” I paid more for wasn’t even a heart…. The clams were terrible. The pizza sauce is to sweet. The only thing semi ok was the penne al vodka which was also super dry. Tried to give them a chance with 140$ plus order and they failed. Stick with Gino’s.

We have eaten here many times and had amazing service. Tonight was not the norm. My husband and I and our friends would come here to have great food and quality time. The food was still good, the service was not what we have had in the past. We had to ask numerous times for simple things like a cover for our food to take home and even to get parm cheese. The worst part was we were a table of four and the tip was automatically added . There was no option to leave the tip of your choice. ( in the past we always left generous tips) it sad to see how such a wonderful place has changed so much and not for the better.
