Pricey, but excellent locally-grown and sourced products including super fresh eggs, fruits, and vegetables. ?Salt & Soil? Marketplace was started by local non profits (Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition, Takshanuk Watershed Council, Spruce Root Economic Development, and the Sustainable Southeast Partnership). Best of all, customers are encouraged to meet the farmers and producers in person and online so you can see where your food is coming from ? and who grows it for you and your family.
