All right, just wanted to give an update on Salazar meets and our experience with them. We originally bought meat from Lucas a few years ago and really enjoyed the quality and texture. Just recently we drove up from southern Arizona to purchased a whole beef from Lucas and Salazar meats. Unfortunately, the meat and cut is not good. The best steaks seem to be full of tendons and ligaments. Honestly, I’m not sure what changed, but the only thing I must pass on to the consumer is that if you’re going to spend $3000 on a whole beef it should be better quality product.
Lastly, we requested all organ meats from our cow, but got none. Not sure how that was lost in translation, but we are not happy with the purchase.

Sollozar Meats processing building inside was very clean and sterile and they are inspected regularly by the state inspector. I just picked up my two Buffalo and was very pleased with the clean Packaging and processing of the burger. Everything is labeled nicely also and their prices are very reasonable for processing. I would personally refer them to other people looking to have meat processed
