Safeway in Seward has plenty to choose from as a grocery store. We were able to get snacks and drinks as we continue traveling Alaska. Better prices than the convenience store and well worth shopping here than convenience stores.

I've been a hot sauce fan since I was 6. When touristing in Seward I was surprised to find some of my all time favorite hot sauce brands on the shelf. This grocer has a sense of flavor!

If you want to be treated rudely and have eyes rolled at you for asking for food and sighed at heavily and have them talk smack about you in a different language, then definitely get food from their deli! ? didn’t even ask for everything that we wanted bc we didn’t want to be treated horribly anymore.

They have smiling face in a very high demand consumer area.
Store shelves stocked & many workers continue to fill the shelves working hard
Managers go above & beyond for customers.

Thank god Seward has a Safeway!! The first real supermarket I’ve come across in any non-Anchorage Alaskan town

It’s very expensive. Things are twice NYC pricing generally. I was shocked and disturbed by a batch of bananas for $8. But well it’s still something to be grateful for, I suppose

This is the place to shop for groceries if you’re in Seward because I have well everything or anything you could frankly want or need
It is your typical Safeway store, which in a smaller town like this is actually a good thing because the selection is quite large and everything is fresh and fully stocked all the time
Far as I’m concerned as no other place to go for groceries because everything is in one place, including a large liquor store

Great selection and well-stocked throughout the entirety of the grocery store. The checkout lines are not too long either. There is also a Starbucks inside which is very nice and convenient. This is the biggest grocery store in Seward, so that is something significant to be noted as well.
