Delightful shop. I went looking for a small pot to re-pot a philodendron and was impressed! Nice selection of house plants, including some super cool succulents, but it's also a great place to buy gifts and cards.

I walked in while exploring the area and was dazzled by all the lovely plants, crystals, books, journals and more. The prices were surprisingly reasonable! The owner was so gracious and sweet. They have workshops too!

Rooted Living is a fantastic shop, With a really friendly staff. They carry so much more than plants: housewares, decorations, locally made gifts, children’s toys, and even some items for your furry family members!

Lynn (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) is so knowledgeable about plants and is always willing to help diagnose what’s going on as well as provide great solutions.

Cannot recommend the store enough its quite the Avondale gem!

I love this shop. Every visit makes me feel good and it has become a go to for gifts and plants. I recently took the Houseplants Care 101 class after taking a flower arranging class in the past and always learn so much. Lynn has so much knowledge. Love having Rooted Living in the neighborhood.

Looove this store. The girl with the pink tortoise glasses was so kind and helpful. She gave me good instructions on caring for my new plants. Prices were also decent and it smelled amazing.

Came across the store while walking down Milwaukee and had to come in because the decor was so beautiful. The interior and selection of goods were so thoughtful and well-curated, standing out among the many other plant/home goods stores I've seen! Plus the owner was so friendly and kind and gave great tips for my new mini terrarium! Definitely support local!!

Lynn with Pollen was fantastic to work with for our June 2019 wedding. Not only is she is easy to work with, open minded, sources from flowers in season, donates the flowers to those in need, she has great forward thinking taste! We didn’t want the traditional look, but rather looked for unique flowers that a mix of wild, traditional and of all different cool textures to make our Secret Garden Salvage One wedding look. We went through an extensive planning session, mood boarding what flowers work and are interesting. From there, she created the most gorgeous flower hangings, table scapes, garlands hanging from chandeliers and more. Check out her pictures. Thank you so much Lynn…you did a gorgeous job!

Adorable shop with a great selection of well-cared for plants and lovely owner. She helped me find the exact (perfect) hoya I came in for, and gave us some great suggestions for a space we're trying to fill. The marble queen pothos I got is beautiful and full of new growth and the lithops is just the most adorable thing I've ever seen. There's also a soil mix station I highly recommend you take advantage of. Will certainly be back!!
